Porsche comes back to the sport as a works team for the first time since 1962. They reached an agreement with Red Bull where they bought 100% of Alpha Tauri.

Porsche's CEO, Oliver Blume, said that the brand comes to F1 to show that they are as competitive with hybrid power as they are in Formula E with electric energy.
