So, by that chart, it seems Alonso gets quicker earler than the rest, so that kind of backs up what you said about Alonso.

Hamilton seems quite consistent, and Rosberg gets quicker later, so maybe thats something do to with the Mercedes and how it works with the tyres.

Grosjean and Maldonado seem quite erratic. Up and Down.

Maybe Maldonado can pull it together.

I am however, predicting a Vettel win. He was being a bit sneaky today, loitering around the track in Q3, I think he's got something up his sleeve.

About the rule.

If the rule is only for practice sessions, how come Lewis got reprimanded and gotten a fine in Canada if it´s ok to stop after the race?

Do they have two penalites, run out of fuel in Qualifying, get disqualified, run out of fuel in the race, it´s ok. But if you are Hamilton you will get a reprimand and a fine of $10.000

I just read on BBC that the rule of fuel and blah blah blah was changed AFTER the 2010 Canadian GP

OH WAIT AFTER THE CANADIAN GP....yet they didnt change the EBD RULES after ...like....RACE 1.... good job FIA...pat yourselfs in the back cuz all you hold in that hand is :poop:

You read it the wrong way around :p Higher values mean slower lap times.

Ok so the rule stated that you can´t run out of fuel after the race before Canada 2010.

When Hamilon runs out, he get´s reprimanded and has to pay a fine, but then they change the rule so it´s ok to run out of fuel after the race.
Yeah pretty much, FIA hates Hamilton just as much as Hamilton hates the FIA...He is like almost our only hope. With Kimi on the grid I hope he slows Vettel, i dont care who wins now that Lewis is in the back, I highly doubt he will be really be up front front. He is fast but we have all seen he doesnt have a fast race pace, he has pace, but not enough.

bet FIA wants to help out Vettel....come on...

and yes Chris the icons are actually really good, wish they add some more.

Guys, before you start being judgemental, how about you find out the EXACT reason(s) for the penalty and the EXACT reason(s) for why other people haven't received penalties.

researched done within 5 mins of the "exciting" news.
they said "punish Mclaren" okay i get that Lewis is part of the team, but they can go and ignore that if they could be more specific, they should hire an attorney or something, because the FIA will never leave Lewis alone.

fact: thousands of babies and birds die everytime the FIA makes a ridiculous decision, just so you know :geek:

Chris, if he did, then he would of done a superb lap. He has either, "saving" hard tyres, thinks he is "fast" in the wet (if it rains, noooooot) , he has a fast car (doubt it), or he is counting on safety car and errors from others.

tbh I dont think Kimi will let him through that easy.

Yeah considering what Vettel did..
But like I said before:

they should add another rule:

Drivers who don't set a time in Q3 have to start the race on rain tyres in case it's dry..
And they have to start on hard dry tyres when it's raining.

That will teach them..

Before you be judgemental, immature and saying stuff without full reasoning, find out the EXACT reason(s).

Well right now we have had at least three different cases that have been exactly the same.

Hamilton running out of fuel in Canada 2010 - Reprimand and a fine.
Alonso running out of fuel in Nurburgring 2011 - Nothing.
Hamilton running out of fuel in Spain 2012 - Disqualification.

Technically they are identical in that all of them had enough fuel in the car for the test but none of them got to the pits by their own power.

No. That is not the exact reasons, that is in layman's terms. In each circumstance, a different amount of fuel could of been in the tank, in some cases the fuel might of been enough. In other cases the rules might of been different. I also heard that the reason why the penalty was so harsh was because of lying within Mclaren.

lol My first statement was...."mature"...that was answering your kind questions. if you know the EXACT, please let me know, nothing in F1 is "EXACT"....nothing.

Yeah Chris, gotta be furious once in a while.
Johan, true they should punish them somehow...somehow...i mean come on. they whined last year of not having enough tyres for Q3....yet didnt they decide to allocate them an "extra" set this year? or did that decision never go through?
Hampus, true, but hey what can do, nothing. the fuel rule is just as bad as last years monaco "allowed tyre change under red flag". just the way they think. dumb dumb.

@ Bram, nah I dont think anyone right now is pointing fingers at him or ferrari. I think Hampus was just making recent empty fuel events that happened. which there are quiet a few but this are recent.
