So a human error is a technical problem? Following this logic, spinning out of a corner and crashing would be a technical problem as well.
And Schumacher had a technical issue then in 2006 Monaco as well - his brain was frozen

To little fuel is a techincal problem. So a human error is a technical problem? Following this logic, spinning out of a corner and crashing would be a technical problem as well.
Cosworth engine versus one of the most fuel efficient engines. No comparison. These are the numbers what Mark Gallagher Cosworth exboss said, i can t argue with you, i have no data, but i belive he knows it better than you.
Also if 0,3 would be enough they wouldn t stop without a mechanical failure

Martin already said that after they checked how much fuel really was in the tank that he would have made it.
However you can´t know exactly how much fuel you have left in the car by looking at a computer screen.
That was always after the race, not qualifying. Apparently, there is a difference.Button earlier this year. He did not get a thing.
And there´s been many cases of running out of fuel since after 2010.
Nobody has ever been disqualified from the session.
Because the team was unsure. If you actually read the comment you would see that.....................So, what's your explanation then for him stopping, if he clearly didn't have a mechanical issue, and he had enough fuel to get to the pits?
Indeed, rule 6.6.2 does not cover the race. Only qualifying and practice. That was always after the race, not qualifying. Apparently, there is a difference.
Actually it´s not. That was always after the race, not qualifying. Apparently, there is a difference.
"Any team whose car stops on the slowing down lap after the race will be asked by the stewards to explain why this happened."
-Charlie Whiting.

You can´t know exactly how much fuel is left in the car by looking at a computer screen. Only when you actually take out the fuel you know how much is left.
Try and read comments before quoting them in the future Dewald.
Wrong HampusActually it´s not.
this was the reason the whole rule was created. But it only seems to apply for some people.
A race is not practice, the qualy however is practice.Except in cases of force majeure (accepted as such by the stewards of the meeting), if a sample
of fuel is required after a practice session the car concerned must have first been driven back
to the pits under its own power.
No, someone not loading enough fuel is a human error. To little fuel is a techincal problem.
Actually it´s not.
There's nothing to debate here, plain and simple.Competitors must ensure that a one litre sample of fuel may be taken from the car at any time during the Event.
Except in cases of force majeure (accepted as such by the stewards of the meeting), if a sample of fuel is required after a practice session the car concerned must have first been driven back to the pits under its own power.
Yea because you sound so mature yourself....That's a nice mature response.
Anyway, so you have proven our points then that they took a chance and was found out.
Yea because you sound so mature yourself....
Never occured that someone actually did mis-calculate the fuel?
They did that in Australia as well where both drivers ran on fuel saving mode for much of the race.
Just use your logic here. 1 extra kg of fuel equals less then one tenth.
When you consider Hamilton first of all made two small mistakes on his pole lap and the fact that he was half a second clear of anyone else tells you that they could have ran 2kg´s more of fuel and still be well within taking pole.
Nobody is disputing that...,So? Then McLaren should've given him 2kg more fuel. It's their own fault.
If I need to drive to Amsterdam and I need 20litres of fuel I'm not going to try it on 15litres without refueling...
I´m not sure if you are just playing or if you really are that dense. There was no way for McLaren to know it would be more than enough before he went out, that's why they took the chance.
Nobody is disputing that...,
The problem is the penalty. It seems people are ok with Hamilton having his own personal penalties.
