ANOTHER TURN: THE GT1 CHASE IS ON - AGAIN

The raw numbers from Sebring don't paint a pretty picture for Bell Motorsports: their GT1 Aston Martin DBR9 piloted by Terry Borcheller, Chapman Ducote and Antonio Garcia finished 29 laps down on the class-winning Corvette of Johnny O'Connell, Ron Fellows and Jan Magnussen … and 21 laps in arrears of the sister Corvette of Olivier Beretta, Oliver Gavin and Max Papis even though the latter car lost time replacing a broken halfshaft.

Well Jos finisht in first place in the lmp2 serie.
He made an exelent start by putting the porsche spider on the pole of his serie`s.
After 6 hours they crossed the line in first place.

So i think Jos has found his new race class.

Peugeot won the LMS Barcelona 1000 Km this weekend:

1- Marc Gené-Nicolas Minassian (Peugeot 908 HDI-FAP), 215 vueltas
2- Mike Rockenfeller-Alexandre Prémat (Audi R10 TDI), a 1 vuelta
3- Stefan Mücke-Jan Charouz (Lola B06/90-Aston Martin), a 3 vueltas
4- Emmanuel Collard-Jean-Christophe Boullion (Pescarolo-Judd), a 5 vueltas
5- Allan McNish-Rinaldo Capello (Audi R10 TDi), a 6 vueltas
6- Jos Verstappen-Peter Van Merksteijn (Porsche RS Spyder 1º LM P2), a 7 vueltas

:drunk:

I'm very happy that Eurosport broadcasted the start and some highlights.

2 hours is better than nothing :)

And great job to VMR and to Jos! I think they should let Van Merksteijn's son drive, because he is much faster also in rally! And in quali VM was 3 seconds slower than Verstappen....

Would be cool if they can fight with 'the big guys'.

So what are your Le Mans expectations? Will Peugeot finally stop Audi's dominance at LM? I personally hope so..:) And somehow I feel, this year it's gonna be a great race!
