On to the next stop in our recreation of the 1989 IMSA Championship Season: Lime Rock Park, in Connecticut. This track is short, easy to learn with a high-speed flow and a crest at the rear section that will have your car pulling some serious sideways air.

For this event, we are adding the VRC Chevrette 28, based on the Chevy Camaro Z28 which saw many victories during this era of motorsports in the US. If you're looking for some high horsepower, seat of your pants driving, this is the car for you.

We will race the following circuits on alternating Fridays:

R1 Sears Point Raceway (Sonoma, CA)
R2 Lime Rock Park (Lakeville, Connecticut)
R3 Mid Ohio Sports Car Course (Lexingtong, OH)
R4 Canadian Tire Motorsort Park (Mosport) (Ontario, Canada)
R5 Road America (Elkhart Lake, WI)
R6 Heartland Motorsports Park (Topeka, Kansas)
R7 Watkins Glen (Watkins Glen, NY)
R8 Laguna Seca (Monterey, CA)
R9 Road Atlanta (Georgia)
R10 Summit Point Motorsports Park (West Virginia)

We'll see you on the track!

I'm assuming we need to chose the BOP'd version of the Auriel 90.

If no one chose's the Chevrette 28 will you remove in so we can use the none BOP'd Auriel 90 and to save me buying it?

Yes, good point. True that with the Chevrette 28 we would need to use the BOP version of the Auriel.
FWIW, I've been driving the Chevrette and am actually starting to enjoy it. I was actually thinking of going with that one myself for the actual race.

However, if no one else goes for it, then I will remove it so we can stay with the full powered version of the Auriel.
I'll give it a few days...

For some reason the track looks frosty, grip seems fine.

Even with BOP the Auriel 90 is faster and easier to drive, maybe you should limit people to 90% boost, it will still be faster.

ok, thanks for heads up about track conditions. i made some adjustments so hopefully it won't look like winter time there now.

thank you also for feedback on cars, i'll think on that. i'd hate to reduce the Auriel 90s performance further...

Unfortunately I will miss the race tonight because I’m ill :( It’s sad as I was really looking forward to fight some corvettes in my audi. This car is awesome to drive. Have a lot of fun guys!
Sorry to hear that Johnny, get better soon. Going around it seems.

Hopefully, we'll catch you on the next one. Glad you enjoy driving that Audi, loving that car myself. Next event in this series will be at Mid-Ohio (challenging but fun track), and we will make it an Audi 90 (no BOP) event only.

Looking for a good time tonight? Cold outside? You're welcome to join us, it's not too late. The track is a snap to learn if you don't know it already, although the cars - not so much. But they are a hell of a good time once you get used to driving them.

Hope to see you on the grid!
