Hello,
I´m working on finding and/or converting F1 mods to Automobilista.
I have already almost all seasons from 1986 till 2014 and preparing a good collection..
Only a few are poor quality... and I´m surprised that many of them got very well converted..

I converted 1991 HE version myself a few days ago, was ok, the car models are outdated and the ASR 1991 cars are so much better.

Hi , I'm trying to convert this mod by myself with rfactor tools. It works good but there is a lot of work to do. I have no experience with Automobilista modding but I don't understand why the animations like diskglow, backfire and tyres rotation don't works. There is some tutorial about this?

I'm certainly interested in the 1979 and 1982 mods! One of my favourite cars for rFactor was the Ferrari 312T4, I absolutely loved driving that around

I got the 1989 mod to work in AMS, it was from RF. majority of the sounds dont work, still a bit to fix manually.

so I did...2-3 mths back now

I managed to convert it from an RF mod into AMS

it was... OK

performance issues
sound issues
I am no expert at conversions by any means
but some seasons from RF convert easier/better than others
and 1989 was a pain

as its one of my favorite F1 seasons of all time, with some great drivers, liveries, etc
it just didnt look good, probably an issue with the shaders that I am not familiar with

I would be interested in having a play around with the mod to see if I could make some improvements. I am not an expert - more of a novice - but I have some time on my hands and I would really like to give it a go. I would hate to see the whole thing lost - the late 80s and early 90s was a great period in F1 and AMS is an awesome platform.

Are you able to give me access to the mod?
