@Andy-R Some may have problems with it, if they want to keep it pure or something like that, but to be honest it is amazing to see the creativity of the skinning artists that can get stuff like the Rustang from @Ben Dovah so if you are just doing it for access to those textures you have my blessing for any of my models I upload here unless otherwise stated.

Changelog:
- fixed the no available slots error (make sure to delete the old folders)
- Added rim-blurs to the LOD B's of the R cars, should not have floating tires anymore
- Fixed the gap in 429R hood scoop, driver should feel much less air coming into the cockpit
- Right hand tires aren't backwards anymore, no more mirrors needed to read firestone
- Changed default 302R rear end to 4.11, should help the ai be a bit more competitive

The rims of the R version are not attached to the rubber when rotating the wheels on your last version.

re-exported it and it is fine, ill begin another upload, don't know where or how that happened to be honest. Apologies for all the little problems guys, apparently today is not my day.
Just a little heads up, the files upload with the same name. Maybe you could name this wheel fix upload as "0.90b"
 
Ok first go in the 302R. It is good fun but it felt like it had a bit too much performance. I really felt it was braking too effectively and possibly corners a bit too well also. I assume SE is special equipment and this is like a road car package/extra you could get? Or like a modified road car. Even if it is a race Mustang I think it is still OP. I am only assuming this based on the performance of other cars in game. I think the 302 might be about the same pace as a 250GTO at the moment or possibly even the Escort RS1600 but I have only done a few laps so far.

I took a few cars for a brake test at the drag strip after my track test and these were the results (I didn't repeat it in each car as rough results would do for this comparison.)

Alfa Romeo GTA - Late 60's race car 750kg

129-0: 70m
96-0: 40m

Ford Escort RS1600 - 1973 race car 885kg

I don't have a skid pad or g meter but if anyone else is familiar with testing cornering capability I would love to know how it stacks up against the other cars above. Just based on my assumption but even if this is a 1970 race prep'd Mustang I would assume all those other cars would out perform it under braking and probably in the corners as well. You might be able to squeeze some beefy brakes in those 15" rims but I doubt it would make up for almost double the weight :D
 
So what the R cars are is based off of the heritage racers in historic events that do not follow trans am regulations, but are made like them, so it should be quite fast on the slicks, though I agree they do seem to be braking faster than I thought. The tires are the same as the GT40 for reference.
