rF2 1.5h GT3 Club @ Mountain Peak (Roadcourse) - Saturday 14th February 2015

We're back again for another evening of the GT3 Club! Continuing with the theme of new and different circuits that we've had over the past few weeks, this time we take you to the mountains of North Carolina and the Mountain Peak Speedway, which has 7 configurations including a roadcourse. Top speed and low drag will be of utmost importance here, with a long straight and two fast, banked corners composing the track; this will make for some interesting, close fought racing.

Choose your poison on the day, and feel free to switch between cars during the practice session. You will have the following to choose from:

Race - Saturday, 14th February 2015
Practice: 17:30 GMT
Qualifying: 18:00 GMT - 20 minutes [NO Parc Fermé]
Warm up: 18:20 GMT - 5 minutes
Race: 18:30 GMT - reconnaissance lap + formation lap + 90 minutes [double-file rolling start]

Starting Procedure
Reconnaissance time - 3 minutes:
You'll have 60 sec to exit the pit lane. If not: you'll start from the pit lane with cold tires.
After that: you still have 120 sec to drive to the starting grid at your own tempo, to pre-heat tires, brakes, and the engine, and to drive to your starting position. If you are not on your starting position in time, you'll be spawned on your spot in neutral.

I think I prefer this mod, but I only had a really quick try yesterday in the 0.9 version

@Matej Lakota: the latest version of the GT3 mod by Apex Modding is still being tested by staff to determine whether or not it has been improved. When I start up the server later on today I might include the Apex cars as well so that we can give them a go. Who know's, it might be awesome and become the new mod to use for GT3 Club events.

the current one, so the BES mod. (you know I'm in love with the Z4 sound )

Cool! We'll be sticking with the BES mod anyway, but I'll include the GT3 mod as well just so that we can give it a go. It'll give us an opportunity to see how the two mods differ, and compare against one another.

Yup, it's a shame about the BES cars. However, you will be allowed to unlock the gear ratios for the APEX cars.
