Really great condition. No significant marks, wear, nicks or tears in the fabric, even on the side bolsters. All webbing is taught and secure. This was the passenger seat from a Ford Escort RS Turbo so probably had very little use prior to going in my old Playseat rig, apart from various tipsy Sharons from Romford climbing in and out in their leather mini skirts. 100% guaranteed no lipstick marks or stiletto heel damage.
This seat is really comfortable and offers great lumbar and thigh support with the extendable pop-out thigh support thingy. The headrest is also adjustable for height and position. To be quite honest, this seat is a LOT more comfortable and offers better ergonomic support than the expensive Sparco R333 I bought to replace it in a fit of madness for no other reason than... I'm not sure why. Buyer's remorse is a terrible thing.
I did once know the name of the fabric pattern but I'm not sad enough to retain that information. [Edit: seems like I really am that sad. I'm pretty sure it's caller Zolda Shadow]
There's typical Recaro build quality throughout, and it comes with the original lever-operated seat slider which was recently disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. The seat slider is black painted steel and does have some minor pitting (which doesn't affect the operation), but it's under the seat so only your pet mouse would be able to see it. Tell your mouse not to be so fussy.
The reclining action is wheel-operated for simple adjustment and fine tuning, and there are also high-level levers to quickly hinge the seat forwards for access to the back of a phantom car that the seat is no longer attached to. Still, it's handy if you want to reduce the space it takes up, or if you have a fetish for rocking seats backwards and forwards quickly.
These seats seem to go for a lot of money in terrible condition on eBay, but it's yours for £80.
Did I mention this is a Recaro? It's a Recaro.
Shout if you need more photos. The old Playseat rig with TV stand and floor mat is also available if anyone's interested.
