3x Oldschool Motorsport Skins
for the Model f302_alfa_romeo_155_ts
This team replaces the Engstler team in the STW 1999 and has been adapted for this racing championship with great attention to detail:
- Arcor sponsor on the windshield
- KW sponsor on the license plates
- Racing numbers in...
Here it is: 18 teams, 31 drivers, 32 liveries & over 100 hours spent.
This started out as a small passion project for personal use, but slowly gained outward interest. So, in my probable lack of good judgment, I decided to get the full grid recreated.
This project was started on 13th May, so...
The final cars to complete the 1999 STW season!
Georg Severich & Olly Brinkmann's 320i's from the 1999 STW season.
The sole BMW's of the season only took part in rounds 8 through to 10, with Brinkmann only racing in round 8. Brinkmann only managed a 20th place finish in the first race at...
Patrick Hildenbrandts Opel Vectra from the 1999 STW season. The chassis number is unknown, all that is known about the car is that it was used by Alzen in the 1997 season, sold to Irmscher and driven by Engstler in 1998, and then finally acquired by Hildenbrandt for the last quarter of the...
Nicola Larini and Fabrizio Giovanardi's 156's from the 1999 STW season. Both cars only competed in the Round 5 (Misano) of the STW series (as did Luchetti of PSGR/Team Nath). Giovanardi and Larini filled out the podium on their only showing, with 1st and 3rd respectively. A bit of a one-race...
Chassis RV07-97/L
Vaclav Nimc's Opel Vectra from the 1999 STW season. The chassis was originally used by Manuel Reuter in the 1997 series, then was updated to 1998 spec (to be used as a test car), and then subsequently used by Nimc in the 1999 season. Where the car is now, or even after that...
Guido Luchetti's A4 from the 1999 STW season. Very little is known about this chassis, though it did compete in the Italian Superturismo series of the same year.
Luchetti only competed in Round 5 (Misano, the same as Alfa Corse) of the STW season as a convergence demonstration, and finished...
Chassis ST20
Andrej Studenič's A4 from the 1999 STW season. The chassis rolled out as a spare for the Italian Superturismo championship in 1996 and was later acquired by Studenič in 1998 to race in the 1998 FIA Central European Supertouring Championship, and then later the 1999 STW season.
The...
Chassis ST27 (#22)
Oliver Mayer and Christian Zink's A4's from the 1999 STW season. The chassis Mayer drove was originally Yvan Muller's from 1997, and as far as we can tell, still races at classic gatherings today.
Little is known about the chassis Zink drove though, unfortunately.
Whislt...
Chassis PRO-ST/H-9706
Thomas Stingl's Accord from the 1999 STW season. The chassis was originally run as a works car in the 1997 season by Team Honda Sport, and was driven my Marco Werner. The car did not race in '98, and saw its final season in 1999 before being moved to KW's HQ in...
Chassis RV010-99/L / Chassis RV06A-98/L
Roland Asch's Opel Vectra from the 1999 STW season. Quite a famous car if you were a follower of the series, whilst Asch placed 10th overall in the championship, there was a bit of controversy surrounding Asch for crashing into Christian Abt in the last...
All 3 ER Motorsport 155's included from the 1999 STW season - their particpation was a bit spotted, with Zink (23) only competing in round 2, Engstler (18) competing in rounds 4-10, and Treml (24) taking part in rounds 3-5, 7, and 9-10.
Overall seen to be a backmarker of the pack, and not...
Chassis RV09-97/L
Olaf Pleuger's Opel Vectra from the 1999 STW season. This was the privateered livery ran, the more eagle-eyed among you will know that the car did also run the Bemani Team livery from 1998 for a period of time. I may yet add that variation of the livery but wanted to get the...
Tom Kristensen and Gabriele Tarquini's JAS Hondas from the 1999 STW season. Both had a fairly successful campaign in '99, finishing 3rd and 4th behind Abt and Alzen.
This livery is for VRC Gojira Ascent - packed up for both the vanilla and CSP versions. Skins are 6K uncompressed.
A massive...
Heinrich Symanzick's Opel Vectra from the 1999 STW season. Not many reference images available for this one, and had a heap of sponsor changes between each image available. With that considered, this livery is a bit of an amalgamation of all of those, so it doesn't represent a specific round...
More STW goodness! Both cars are included from the 1999 STW season.
These liveries are for the f302_audi_a4 - skins are 4K uncompressed.
My other 1999 STW liveries:
Abt Sportsline - Audi A4
Euroteam - Alfa Romeo 156
Jever Audi Team Phoenix - Audi A4
Raceline Marketing - Opel Vectra
JAS Team...
All 4 Euroteam cars included from the 1999 STW season - Stefano Modena was the only driver to compete in every round of the season, with Scheld appearing in rounds 1-3, Campana in round 5, and Paglicci in rounds 6-10.
These liveries are for the msc_156_stw - skins are 4K uncompressed.
NOTE...
All 3 Abt Sportline cars included from the 1999 STW season - Nissen and Abt competed for the entire season, with Ekstrom making a guest appearence in Round 8.
These liveries are for the f302_audi_a4_stw - skins are 4K uncompressed.
This pack kicks off a project of making the entire 1999 STW...
Here is the skin from Georg Severich's BMW 320i STW which he used in the 1999 Supertourenwagen Cup in the final three rounds. This is the skin he used during the Oschersleben and (maybe) in the Hockenheim rounds. His best finish with that car is a tenth place in the feature race in Oschersleben.
