When racing at night, I have no lights on track at all.
Car lights work fine. tried multiple versions of CSP.
Tried without SOL/PURE, tried with multiple versions of SOL/PURE.
Tried completely fresh install of AC, and CSM, both without mods, and with mods.
Result is always the same...

Basically back to my old settings. They were super right.
So to avoid shadow missalignment:
1- In your *.GDB (for sunrise 6am / sunset 6pm) set:

When you turn on your headlights you see them leveling, even on non-csp mod cars (no ext config in car folder, neither in ac/extension folder) but they do work. What config controls that? I guess it's a CSP feature but i can't find anything.
This PPFilter is a simple and effective filter to create a modernised and clean look to AC. There's no SOL settings to set, no CSP settings to tweak, it's simply a case of turning it on and enjoying it.

Well.. this patch is basically new set of values for your *.GDB track files, wich includes:
- Reworked colors, intensities, fog.
- New single geolocation for shadows/sun vectors to be 24hs aligned.
- 4 GFX´s that force the use of SRPL shaders.
- DX7 & DX8 capable.

From sunrise to sunset.
FPS are better than the previous "lighting patch 1.1" specially at sunrise and sunset.
FPS are the same than original GFX.gtr.
I have not run a benchmark but I think they are more stable now.
Also reduced flicker and shadow overlapping...

WelI..I found that a most precise geolocation and racedate will even make the shaders work properly on angles of incidence of lighting and shadows.
But there are still problems with the shaders. Shadows still overlap, but much less. Fog is not linear. Specular gets inside the casted...
