Porsche's first aim at an overall win at the Le Mans 24h, after over a decade of class wins, came in 1968. The new 908 was modified with a longer tail and movable flaps mounted for additional downforce while not slowing the car down on the Mulsane straight. The 908LH proved fast, with 1st, 2nd...
Two forgotten entrants of the 1968 Le Mans Ford camp, Claude Dubois and Strathaven Limited. Both failed to finish the race.
Special shoutout to @mrspasta2001 for drawing the 12 on P/1084, it truly ties the whole livery together :inlove:33

The last round of the 1968 WSC was the legendary Le Mans 24h, held in September 1968.
John Wyer entered a 3rd chassis for the first and last time, which ended up in a sandbank early on in the race.
#9 P/1075 took its first Le Mans win.
Custom decals, numbers, everything!
Enjoy :)
