WRC 10 November Update Details Revealed

WRC 10 November Update 01.jpg
KT Racing has released details of their November update for WRC 10, which will include a new car and new location, along with five new historic challenges.

An update for WRC 10 scheduled for release on the 25th of November will contain some new content along with updates to the Clubs mode and some new stickers for the livery editor. The online Teams mode update has been postponed and will be released as part of the January update.

The new content includes the Acropolis Rally location, five new historic rally stages, and a mystery new car. The five new historic rally stages will supplement an already impressive historic rally mode, which allows players to recreate famous moments from the 50 year history of the World Rally Championship. The new car is likely to be a part of one of the new historic stages.

Psyched for this one. Acroplis is probably my favorite rally and a much welcome addition. I feel there are too many asphalt rallies at this point and this'll help even it out.

At least WRC10 provides better FFB than DR2 (imo, and still supports D-box motion) but yeah, telemetry support would be nice.
there is this cool patch :

The DLC should contain a new car: Subaru Impreza from 1999 with Burns but also:
-Citroën Xsara 2002 Loeb
-Citroën Xsara Sainz (2003?, 2004?, 2005?)
-Volkswagen Polo Latvala (2013 ?, 2014 ?, 2015? Or 2016?)
-Toyota Celica GT4 Auriol (1994?)

I'm really hoping for a 90's McRae, Sainz, Makinnen, Burns, Gronholm, etc era car.
Perhaps the 207?

I don`t know if i am just dump with this game or whats the reason my t300 FFB feels still like shi* in this game. So far still unplayable. FFB feels like a bad joke. Can`even describe that.

It takes some time to adjust all ffb parameters and some seem to be interactive (co-dependent) with others. On dirt & gravel, the effects are pretty good at times. Both the WRC-series and Dirt Rally2 still lack informative ffb-effects on tarmac, though.

After 100+ hours in Dirt Rally 2.0, I took up WRC 10 recently and it's better in many ways, particularly asphalt physics. Still looking forward to what Codemasters can do with the WRC license but this series has really improved by leaps and bounds.

Wonder if this update will include fixes to help minimize game crashes and speed up the AI at all. Never mind fixing whatever FFB bugs may still be present. I don't have the game myself, but these seem like fundamental issues I hope KT gets around to addressing soon enough.

It’s like dirt2 before the first Patch but even 50% worse.
I feel just there is a little ffb effect, but its telling me nothing. Like said hard to describe.
Last chance if someone would share his TM Wheel settings ingame.

Orherwise i will just take a Controller and play it like an forza Game...

At least better this way rather no playing at all.

Initially, I felt the same with WRC10 ffb but, with a second attempt at tuning the game's ffb settings, I found better results. Not only are the various settings unusual, their interaction can be confusing. I had better luck when I used moderate settings but, the "Vibration" effect level seems to have a major impact in how other settings are applied.

Trying to find the right setup for me, I have been struggling with this game last 4 days, I gave up yesterday.
First problem no vr support but with vorpx and after a few hours of searching for the correct view I can get a decent vr with my 8kx
I spent another day to find some kind of move with my NLR v3. I tried with WRC Telemetry Patch unfortunately without success. It looks like the signal is going to the NLR Manager but not transmitting it to the chair. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or in NLR it doesn't work
Fortunately in NLR manager you can add movement to any game without support from the steering wheel and pedals (front-back / left-right) nothing special but always something.
Ok two problems partially solved.
But the next two days was a real fight with the steering wheel.
Completely I don't understand this system. FFB is a complete failure in this game, I'm sure someone who has never sat in a car did it.
I tried everything what I found on the internet and built from the scratch, without success. Feeling on my csl DD is just terrible.
It's a pity because the special stages seem to be more interesting than in DR2.0 and maybe even physics doesn't look very very bad, but the steering is totally crap.
I was fooled by this game, actually by their producers 3 times, wrc1 then wrc7 and now wrc 10.
Fortunatly there won't be many more occasions for them to cheat me one more time. Codemasters is not perfect but I think they do it better.

I would add episodes of "Split Seconds" to "50th Anniversary":
Sébastien Ogier - Elfin Evans / 0.6sec / Hrvatska 2021
Sébastien Ogier - JM Latvala / 0.2sec / Jordan 2011
Marcus Grönholm - Sébastien Loeb / 0,3 sec / New Zealand 2007
