Buckle up for a ride with no wild manoeuvres, overtakes or any crazy racing action – but a high Safety Rating as a reward.
Like most racing games, Assetto Corsa Competizione features a system to determine whether a player’s driving is well-behaved or if they cause trouble on the track. The Safety (SA) Rating is accessible under your driver profile by clicking on ‘Ratings’. This score is basically the entrance ticket to most of the online servers, so it is crucial to reach a high rating.
To get your SA to the desired level so you can access all servers, we have prepared an easy strategy for you to follow.
The key components are Trust and Online Behavioral Warning Points (OBWP). Trust increases your rating if you drive close to other cars without crashing, preferably wheel-to-wheel. OBWP are penalty points for when you hit other cars.

Don’t Ruin your Score
First off: you can switch the rating on and off in the menu. It is active by default, so if you plan on running riot and crashing into everything in the offline mode, turn off the SA beforehand. The key components are Trust and Online Behavioral Warning Points (OBWP). How to Boost the SA Rating
Now let’s get to boosting your rating! A quick way is to turn the rating on in single player races and drive some clean and safe laps against an AI that won’t try to force you into any crazy maneuvers. Here is our simple but effective strategy:- Select Quick Race
- Race length should be +20 minutes, so there are enough laps to gain bonus points
- Set the number of opponents to 18, so there are not too many cars
- Select an AI difficulty you know is beatable for you, but only by a slight margin
- Start from last place
