From a varied range of new Porsches to a collaboration from the stars; Forza Horizon 5's latest update adds a whole new dimension to the game.
Forza Horizon 5 has surprised its player base by collaborating with Halo again, another legendary Xbox-exclusive series. The collaboration will bring 71 new props styled around the Halo universe for players to use to build their tracks and change the environment. In total, 19 of these new props have Snapping functionality to aid the building process for players.
The new Porsche 911 Turbo S
However, The Horizon Track Day update is not entirely based on the Halo collaboration content, thankfully. The new cars added in update 40 also promise to expand the selection of Forza Horizon 5 cars, specifically, the Porsche section.
The three new cars are the 2023 Porsche 911 Rallye, 911 GT3 R, and 911 Turbo S. Why there has been a Dakar-inspired car added in an update based on track days we do not quite understand, but it is a welcomed addition to the offroading lineup nonetheless.
The Porsche Rallye (Dakar).
Looking to the end of 2024 for the final update of the year, Playground Games has stated that it will be a festive-themed update. Stadium decorations, new reward cars, clothing items, and even a special showcase remix, all of which will be geared toward commemorating the upcoming holiday season, are in the pipeline.

Alongside the Halo collaboration and the new cars, the stadium is also being transformed back into an oval circuit again so you can release your inner racing driver and put these new Porsches through their paces. Visit the Oval Track on the second week of Horizon Track Day, and after you are done going for a few laps, find and smash ten Helmet Piñata Collectibles for a prize.
