With F1 23 just around the corner for its June 16th release, F1 Manager 2023 will not make fans wait much longer: The upcoming title launches digitally on July 31st - the day after the Belgian Grand Prix. Players who want to take the reigns of a Formula 1 team earlier than that can do so if they preorder the game.

Preordering the game will give players access to the new F1 Manager game four days in advance while also netting them 12 additional scenarios to complete as a bonus should they opt for the Deluxe Edition. Interestingly, the game is set to launch exclusively in digital form at first, with physical console versions for Xbox Series X|S & One and Playstation 4/5 to follow at a later date. The digital versions' suggested retail price is £44.99/$54.99/€54.99 for the standard edition, while the Deluxe Edition should cost £54.99/$64.99/€64.99 at launch.

Two Scenario Modes

In addition to the release date and pricing, new information on the game's scenario modes have been given: F1 Manager 2023 will feature two scenario modes that put players in control of an F1 team in scenarios aiming to reproduce real-life events at the Grands Prix, with new ones being added after every Formula 1 race weekend.

In Starting Grid mode, players guide a team through a full GP using the grid positions and weather conditions of the real event. On the other hand, Race Moments gets more specific and challenges players with specific in-race scenarios to achieve an objective by the end of the race.

In all scenarios and other game modes, a new tire model makes players assess risk and reward. The system takes the track surface and tire carcass temperatures into account, making decisions on when to make your drivers push and when to tell them to take it easy more critical than before.

I used to be super excited by the prospect of a new F1 Manager game coming out (anyone remember GPRM? :roflmao:). I'm sad that I don't care anymore, but also that this is another yearly full-game release franchise. I'd perhaps be interested if they released a yearly DLC and updated the base game with all the new features, graphics, etc. Being asked to pay full price every year for this, or any sports game really, is a big turn off for me.

The one last year wasn't great. Unless this has an option where you can switch teams or start at a lower level and move your way up, then I'll just stick with Motorsports manager again. It's also far more expensive this year then it was last year. If I'm not mistaken, it was $34.99 or $39.99 at launch last year.

No options like this in F1M23.

It's a double-priced re-skin with a scenario-mode noone asked for.
Wrong focus for a manager-game.

What a terrific helmet cam, incredible CM couldn't create something like that by now.

I hope they let you change your team after a season or half a season, because we return to the same problem as last year, in terms of not having your own 11th team like in Codemasters, I see it as a 2nd error, and another serious error that I see here is not include the GP2 championship, it is not difficult, it is to model only one chassis and put 11 skins, in my opinion, it is VERY expensive for what it offers, and I prefer to wait until it is worth 15 euros, having the previous game, I prefer to put a season 23 mod and keep playing.
