Fans of EA Sports WRC have been crying out for the 2024 content, and it is finally coming on October 8th. The 2024 season expansion adds two new locations as well as all of the liveries and crews from the 2024 WRC World Championship
It is fair to say that the new content is extensive with new cars, locations, liveries and crews from the 2024 WRC World Championship. However, not everyone is too impressed with the price tag that is joined to this new and exciting content.

The 2024 Season Expansion introduces a total of five new cars within the three WRC categories. These new 2024 cars will not replace their 2023 counterparts within the WRC, WRC2 and Junior WRC categories. They will simply add an additional class.
The latest models from Hyundai, Toyota and Ford come fully kitted out and ready to hit the stages of EA Sports WRC. These new 2024 cars feature the official 2024 liveries and chassis not only to emulate their real-life counterparts but to stand out to new rally fans and casual game enjoyers.
New engine audio has also been recorded for the Puma Rally1 HYBRID, adding further to the list of improvements for this new era of Rally1 cars. Both the Hyundai i20N and Toyota Yaris also received some slight updates to their existing recordings with small inconsistencies fine-tuned out.

To re-create the level of WRC competition, the handling of the new Rally1 vehicles has been constructed to accurately replicate their real-world counterparts. This handing change hopes to be a big step forward in showing just how wild these hybrid Rally1 cars are.

In a similar vein to the Rally1 Puma, the Yaris’ unique 3-cylinder engine has its unique soundtrack and the handling has been refined to replicate its nimble chassis and punchy torque, giving the WRC2 class a whole competitor to worry about.
For the Junior WRC category, the brand-new Ford Fiesta Rally3 Evo for 2024 is ready to hit the stages and help teach new players and rally fans alike the basics of this incredibly complex sport.

Latvia also makes its much-anticipated WRC debut in 2024, bringing a new challenge to both the real-world drivers and sim racers. Over 20km of real roads are in store for us, with two authentically replicated “hero stages”. All stages will have their shortened and reversed variants resulting in 12 total stages for Rally Latvia's debut.

Both locations can be raced across all the available game modes in EA Sports WRC in any weather and time of day. From sunny skies to treacherous winter snow, Poland and Latvia are a fantastic addition to an already terrific calendar.
If you are a new player, you can get the base game, all of the 2024 locations and cars as well as the Le Maestros Content Pack and the Hard Chargers Content Pack for $49.99 USD / £44.99 GBP / €49.99 EUR. The base game costs that price on its own so if you have not picked this title up yet, now is a great opportunity to do so.

The options for existing players are rather pitiful. To get all of the new content, you have to pay over three-quarters of what the base game costs. That is simply too expensive and, rightfully so, the pricing is being torn apart on social media by outraged fans.
The EA Sports WRC 24 Season Expansion Bundle, which includes the 2024 Locations & Cars Content Pack, the Le Maestros Content Pack and the Hard Chargers Content Pack comes in at $29.99 USD / £24.99 GBP / €29.99 EUR.
For just the Locations & Cars Content Pack, existing players will be asked to hand over $19.99 USD / £17.99 GBP / €19.99 EUR and each content pack will be $9.99 USD / £8.99 GBP / €9.99 EUR if not bought with the expansion bundle.
