RaceRoom has plenty of content on offer - so much so that keeping track of everything can be challenging. Here is our full list of RaceRoom content to help you!

As end of the calendar year, one simulator that had an astounding year in terms of new content and quality updates is RaceRoom, published and developed by KW Studios. With so much variety, here is a full breakdown of every piece of available content in RaceRoom at the end of 2024.

RaceRoom is one of those simulators that provides a bit of everything for everyone. If you like GT3 racing, you have modern DTM cars, the GTR 3 class, and even some classic GT3 machinery like the BMW Z4 from 2013. If touring cars are more your forte, WTCR, WTCC, and classic touring cars are everywhere you look, with brands like Honda, Alfa Romeo, Hyundai, Lynk & Co, Opel, Volvo, BMW, Honda, and Audi.

Moving away from the modern series, RaceRoom offers a loud, turbocharged battlefield of Group C cars, the Group 5 fire-breathing monsters and the freshly announced Super Tourers for some of that door-to-door 90s grit. RaceRoom also offers its fleet of 'Inspired' cars, from modern Formula One cars to Formula Ford. If you fancy driving something completely different, there is even truck racing!

RaceRoom's Future​

Moving into the final months of 2024 and 2025, RaceRoom is arguably in one of the best positions it has been in for many years. The content is of excellent quality, and with the release of the Super Tourers in December, the playerbase should expand.


The multiplayer, whilst often a ghost town in off-peak hours, is very well structured and sometimes seen as iRacing's bridesmaid regarding online competition systems. However, RaceRoom will be getting the Automobilista 2 treatment in 2025 with the addition of Low Fuel Motorsport support.

Low Fuel Motorsport (LFM) is an online-based race and championship organiser with a safety rating system and a driver rating. While LFM will undoubtedly remove drivers from the official servers, the integration is seen as essential to keeping RaceRoom's online mode populated and healthy throughout 2025 and beyond.

RaceRoom is hosting a Black Friday sale from November 21 until December 6 during which most of its content is discounted by 50%. The only exceptions for vehicles are the new 1995 DTM cars and the 2024 DTM-spec Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO II and McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, plus the Avus, Fliegerhorst Diepholz, Hockenheimring Classic, Zandvoort, and Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on the circuit side.

Good article and it's great to see some light shone on Raceroom, but you kinda skimmed past mentioning how much DTM content there is (pre-GT3) considering how much is there, along with how much of a significant role DTM has in Raceroom's line-up, and just how particularly good that content is.

Love seeing R3E hanging on and improving to keep pace with the modern grid of sim racers. It's been years since I sunk any time into the sim, always had a little trouble getting the VR and the FFB in an optimal place. Can anyone comment on how (if) those have changed in recent memory? Worth reinstalling and sinking some time into dialing everything in?

VR should have had an upgrade in performance since the DTM 95 update, FFB I find the default settings to be good, while tinkering with them does result (for me) in a bit of a worse experience. It's also car related, and does differ from car to car.

They should fix the compatibility issues with the Pimax Crystal first. It still doesn't work on its native resolution. It's not optimized for modern hardware indeed.

Not trying to be a smart aleck, but the answer depends on how you define 'simulation'. R3E is absolutely a simulation of driving and tuning various racing cars from varying time frames on varying tracks with varying configurations.
Is it accurate to any of those variations? I have no idea, I am way too poor to be able to do this in real life.
It is different than the other sims I have, but that is like comparing apples to oranges.
Is it fun? I personally really enjoy it for the single player time attack stuff and the AI racing. I find the AI is less insane than in AC (my other primary sim), and the tuning is as pleasant as AC and GTR2.
One huge plus for it is that it has a low ish one-time 'completed cost of entry' after you get past the freeware bits. Dropping $100 for everything and knowing that I have it all hurts way less than the iRacing 'you pay to join, you pay to stay joined, you pay for cars, you pay for tracks and don't EVER let the subscription lapse or I get to pay again!' model.

Depends on your headset . As a pimax crystal user I find it well below par compared to ac/ams2 and iRacing . But I have had fun running in flatscreen and it looks clean , sharp and functional now in flatscreen .
