Le Mans Ultimate Teases LMGT3 Cars To Be "Coming Soon"

The 2024 grid will continue to take shape in Le Mans Ultimate: The first batch of LMGT3 cars is due to launch before the end of the year, with the first teaser giving a hint at a car that could be included.

After eight races, the 2024 World Endurance Championship season has concluded with the 8 Hours of Bahrain - and it was a competitive campaign that saw Toyota win the manufacturers title while Porsche's Kévin Estre, André Lotterer and Laurens Vanthoor taking the drivers title.

That part can already be recreated in Le Mans Ultimate as the 2024 Hypercar grid is complete already. The LMGT3 grid, on the other hand, is still in the works, but the first cars might join the sim's lineup soon. There is one more content release expected for 2024, and that will include LMGT3 cars.

Following the Bahrain finale, a post on the Le Mans Ultimate social media profiles sees two of the cars drive a lap of the circuit from bumper cam - so while they are not actually visible, the first car in the teaser sounds like the BMW M4 GT3, while the second one could be a Ferrari 296 GT3 or a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R. It is hard to tell for sure, though - let us know your guesses in the comments below!

With another content launch expected in early 2025, the GT3 grid is likely going to be deployed in two waves. However, not all of it will be paid DLC, as Motorsport Games had already announced earlier - like the BMW M Hybrid V8 LMdH car, there will be free content for the GT3 category as well, meaning that you could still compete in the 2024 LMGT3 class even if you do not want to buy content.

Which cars do you think are in the Le Mans Ultimate LMGT3 teaser? Let us know in the comments below and join the discussion in our LMU forum!

I hope they come with revised physics as well. I really don't understand why people like LMU so much, especially when rF2 is a thing.
The cars in LMU are so skittish, just ready to snap at any time. rF2 may be too forgiving but LMU still has that floatiness to it with the downside of the car quickly going from understeer to snap oversteer. The last turns at Fuji feel so bad for example, the cars can't decide what behavior to have.

Granted, LMU may be more forgiving or "better" than iRacing or ACC, but that doesn't make it good.

We're still waiting for a game that doesn't crash every 5min, has offline results that actually work, yellow flags, safety car, just the basics right first.
Why not all the things ? Wanting one feature does not exclude having another. And having stuff like VR and triple screen support in 2024 is a basic feature in sim racing, no ?

Community here gets more toxic too. Lots of moaning and negativity. What a difference over time thinking back 10 years, all was a lot healthier here at racedepartment, but just my two cents.
That's what happens when your get 10 years older, moaning and negativity. Trust me I moan all day lol.

I understand your point, but I don't think they are focused only on DLC: there were new features, bug-fixes, beta version of VR added, and as far as I understand 2 of the 9 GT3 cars will be free and part of the game you paid.

I don't think you can say it was a waste of money until you see it complete, you can say you are tired waiting, but they told from the beinning they did not have and exact release date.
To be fair i agree with you partially.
I my understanding a EA title should have the first goal to bring the game to full release and the paid Dlc is something additional so it should be not the prior target.
But this game is not the only example so i dont bash. We are "talking" in normal way. ;)

For my part i can say it is waste of money coz i dont play it (state of the game and VR).
Had maybe slightly different expectations thats why i am maybe not so happy about this sim.
Ive pumped also money in rF2 and see few similiralities to LMU now.

But as ive wrote. The Dlc in EA-state-thingy is my main point.

Yes, agree with this. Can't see why its viewed as the holy grail of physics/ffb tbh.

Oh no the death of ACC is coming... Working VR for GT3 cars... :roflmao:

Aside from Interlagos I'm far more interested in bug fixes and what features are brought in... The lack of private servers are the number 1 reason I don't spend as much time in this that I want to...

The co-op is better than Race Control, better driving standards... But it's still just racing against AI in 2024... It's not going to satisfy my racing needs...
