In the latest patch announcement for Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (TDUSC), compensation for players who could not access the game they paid for early are due to receive compensation, but not in the form previously promised.
This second major patch for TDUSC comes at a pivotal point for the title. After a publically humiliating release, the remaining player base has been waiting for the servers to stabilise and for compensation if they paid to access the game early.
The player base has taken to X to show their disappointment in the promised compensation.
However, all hope is not lost. More details are to follow shortly and they have to be financial compensation, that is if NACON stick to their previous promise of the compensation extending further than simple in-game items.

Outside of the compensation update and the long changelog, the PS5 portion of the TDUSC player base is finally receiving its performance update. These updates include, but are not limited to; a resolution update from 1080p to 1440p, over forty bug fixes and steering wheel compatibility improvements. Check out the patch notes for the full list of changes and fixes.

Compensation
To most TDUSC players, this statement in the latest patch notes will be a punch in the gut to any chance of seeing some of their hard-earned money back. An in-game car and some stickers are the complete opposite of what the developers promised players in the first major patch. However, all hope is not lost. Changelog
The changelog for the patch contains a fairly substantial amount of fixes and changes ranging from game-breaking glitches when traffic spawns and a patch to allow select AMD GPUs to work with the game. Small changes like the fonts of the car brands have also been adjusted to mimic reality.TDUSC Season One. Image: Nacon
