2024 is shaping up to be a big year for MOZA Racing: The hardware manufacturer teased a new, licensed Lamborghini wheel - its second cooperation with a car manufacturer already.

The eyes of many sim racers were on MOZA Racing at gamescom 2024 - not only had the manufacturer unveiled its new pedal set including an active pedal upgrade, an FFB flight stick and an indicator stalk add-on, it also presented its first-ever licensed steering wheel in the Porsche Mission R wheel.

While the wheel itself was just on show behind a glass panel, meaning no one could try it just yet, it was a big step up for MOZA, who had introduced increasingly higher-end hardware leading up to this point, such as the Vision GS and FSR Formula Wheel. Now, Lamborghini joins MOZA's line-up.

The sim racing hardware manufacturer announced its cooperation with the legendary Italian marque, specifically via the Lamborghini Squadra Corse racing programme. It also showed a teaser of the upcoming wheel, which is visible enough to make out some striking shapes - and that hints at the wheel not being an official version of the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2's volant.

Essenza SCV12 Wheel Incoming?

Instead, MOZA appears to go down the hypercar route even further. The shape of the wheel strongly hints at the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12. The highly exclusive model is limited to 40 track day cars and comes with a mighty 819hp naturally aspirated V12 - sounds like a recipe for some serious fun!

If it is indeed the Essenza SCV12 wheel, sim racers are going to be able to enjoy the wheel that they will likely have a hard time seeing in the wild one day.

With so many different makes in our Sims I would find it hard to commit to a particular branded wheel. Thats said I think its neat, its also going to be dumb expensive!

Yet another silly teaser shown in black on black, about time the advertising guru's grew up and figured another way to persuade us to buy their tat,

However and far more importantly that Lambo sounded fantastic 🤤
I did notice though, that the driver kept reminding the car that he will be using the brakes at the end of each fast section... just a little tap with the left foot

for a split second I thought it would be a Lmdh wheel, what a cool surprise that would have been. This is still better than the Porsche wheel though.

Yea, why is that?
It is very likely done to combat the phenomenon called brake knock-back
