After confirmation of its early access delay to January 2025, Assetto Corsa EVO will have its official reveal showcasing gameplay footage in only a couple of days!

Perhaps the most hotly anticipated sim racing title right now is the true follow-up to 2014's Assetto Corsa, which despite being over ten years old is still going strong with support for mods. Officially revealed to be named Assetto Corsa EVO back in April, it was initially set for release in Spring 2024.

But after Kunos gave the fans of the sister title Assetto Corsa Competizione what they wanted in the form of the Nordschleife, they pushed EVO back for a Summer release this time in early access. Unfortunately, they did not make that window and have delayed it until January 2025.

Whilst they could not get the game released before summer was out, they will be making up for it in the form of an official announcement trailer on the Assetto Corsa YouTube channel. The video will go live on 30 September at 2pm CEST.

What We Know So Far

AC EVO has already got its Steam page up and ready for everyone to add to their wishlist, and with it are all of the system specs recommended, all of which can be found here. Additionally, all of the cars and tracks that have already been officially confirmed can be seen on our official content page which we will keep updated in the lead-up to and after the full release.

In addition, Kunos has stated that virtual reality implementation is a high priority for the game's launch. After the game leaves early access, a console release is set for late 2025.

Perhaps that is the most official information we know about ACE, but undoubtedly, plenty more will be revealed in the announcement trailer. Bookmark it or click the video above!

For Americans, the time will be on SUNDAY at 8pm eastern, google is saying its 5pm for both Pacific and Mountain time but that cant possibly be right. Im assuming Mountain will be 6pm, and 7pm for ?Central? Time.

Looking forward to see the video, at least this is official news, also a released date in January 16, that is good as well. It says Early Access, seems like the new norm.
I like Early Access, it gives time to experiment with what is there and then some new stuff comes along,
I have no issue with that, particularly if the little we get works well.

Really that's your first post in the thread.
It's the weekend so not everyone is working I noticed your comment in the other thread maybe you need to dial it back a bit.
No controversy, just a statement of facts.
Not everyone works on weekends except you.

I wonder if the Steam page will get a further update that day to, with what they plan to release as car/track bundles. Likely that they already have some initial dlc packs mapped out, due to length of time required to build all assets and do the manufacturer contracts. Steam does now show release as 2025. I'll just assume it's the end of January, to maximize the dev work they can do on everything. It makes less sense to announce the delay, and release first week in January in my mind. Bring it on, gr8 news.

Thank you for the heads up Luca Munro

Looking forward to seeing what ACEvo will show us and who will be the main focus for the target market?...Sim Racers or Gamers in general, will be interesting to see.

Hopefully there will be some kind of 'Show Reel' and some Game Play to get a feel for what's about to happen...will it be legendary as expected or is my hype over rated.

They talked about releasing the game 2024 spring, they are releasing a trailer 2024 autumn. If you can't follow through with your dates why keep announcing them.

They will probably delay it further from 2025 jan as well. Announcing release date a year too early from when you will actually release is really something.
