Ahead of gamescom, MOZA Racing has teased new hardware that is going to be unveiled at the event in Cologne. Here's what's coming up.

Sim racers cannot complain about a lack of choice when it comes to hardware in 2024. Ahead of gamescom 2024, MOZA Racing looks set to expand that range even further, as the manufacturer teased four new pieces of hardware to be unveiled at the Cologne event taking place from August 21 to 25.

Most recently, MOZA unveiled its Vision GS racing wheel, which features a central, circular, self-rotating display much like the yet-to-be-released Fanatec Bentley GT3 wheel. Prior to that, the brand had made its foray into flight sim gear for the first time - and a new flight stick seems to be among the new products that are set to be shown in Cologne, too.

New Pedals & Licensed Wheel?

However, more interestingly for sim racers, it looks like a steering wheel and a new pedal set are going to be in the spotlight at gamescom for the first time as well. The silhouettes of both do not really show too much, but it looks like MOZA is going to step up into the higher end of the range for pedal sets, as the kit in the teaser image looks much more beefy than the pedals that are currently available from them.

The steering wheel to the left of the image looks like a formula-type wheel that resembles the volant of the Porsche Mission R. The yellow accents on either side of the wheel and the buttons at the top of both grips, as well as the two rotating dials match those found in Porsche's all-electric rocketship.

It would be MOZA's first licensed wheel, as all other steering wheels in its line-up thus far do not resemble any official wheels in particular.

Meanwhile, the final piece of hardware in the teaser image may be more appealing to those who tend to race street cars - or those who mainly take to the road in trucking sims such as EuroTruck Simulator 2. MOZA already offers the TSW Truck Wheel, and it looks like this can soon be complimented by an indicator stalk accessory.

Of course, we will only know what exactly MOZA Racing will show once gamescom opens its doors - or closer to that, should MOZA decide on releasing more info before the event.

The most interesting for me will be the re-introduction of reasonable cost FFB joysticks for flight sims.

Sure FFB in flight sims is not so much of an issue if you're flying modern Airliners or modern fighter aircraft. but for general aviation, and historic fighters like warbirds, where things aren't fly by wire this will be very very welcome.

The Porsche wheel, a new (side) joystick and CRP2 pedals... Moza has been busy which is a good thing for us. Even the elastomer rings look like candy now... functional candy. :D
