Gamescom 2024 is just around the corner - time for another community event at the OverTake office in Cologne! Mark your calendars - we open our doors on August 20, and free tickets are now available!

All eyes of the gaming world will be on Cologne from August 21 to 25 - that is when Gamescom 2024 is taking place at the Koelnmesse. And with gamers - including sim racers, of course - already flowing into the city, we figured it would be high time to host our second Community Event at our Cologne office on August 20!

Like last time when we launched the MOZA R3 Racing Bundle with more of their gear on site for you to try out, we want to meet you, hang out, chat sim racing, and just have a good time with our favorite hobby. Plus, you will have the chance to meet and catch up with industry partners and sim racing enthusiasts - all while there will be mutliple sim racing rigs for you to hop into - that, and our Daytona USA 2 arcade machine!

Additionally, we are also working on cool show cars, some racing action, and - of course - food and drink for you to enjoy. If our first Community Event was any indication, it is going to be a blast again!

Free tickets for our second Communtiy Event are now available - but they are limited so our office does not burst at the seams, of course. Get yours today to join us ahead of Gamescom!

Hey there,
Last time we basically focused on a specific hardware pice (the moza R3 and other items from their lineup) as a hands on event.
This time it is more focused on meeting people within simracing and from the companies within it, we will obviously have rigs ready to try out different equipment that we have in the office, our Daytona USA 2 arcade maschine (as we all know ,that is for the real simracers!) and maybe even some news from partners about new products etc. (can´t tell you yet because as always, that depends on how far development is at that point).

So it is more a fun night out with simracing, meeting others etc. and to kick of Gamescom week. If we are lucky, we might see some material of a unreleased sim or such, working on that ;)

Ok, I will think about it. It will take me 2 to 3 hours driving to get there so I am interested if it is something special. I will not go to the Gamescom 2024, so it would be only for Overtake.

I can totally understand that thats a long way, so if it doesn´t work out, I get it. But I think everyone that visited us last time knows that we try our best to make the trip worth it.

It is still the beginning of those events, but we will try to improve them each and every time if there is interest within the community, so any support, feedback etc. is appreciated!
