Testing new sim racing hardware can be difficult for the lack of opportunities – so we want to help our community with that, starting with a MOZA Racing Community Launch Event on June 4 at the OverTake office.
Opportunities to try new hardware on-site and with your own hands are rare in sim racing, with brick-and-mortar stores not exactly being common. Annual events like Sim Formula Europe are about the only exception. So if you are thinking “well, how do I know if this new piece of kit will actually work for me?”, you might want to stop by the OverTake office soon.
We want to offer our community the opportunity to try select hardware on our rigs, surrounded by fellow community members – some friendly competition and relaxed atmosphere included. Got questions for the OverTake team? Of course, we will also be there to make sure it is going to be a great event, as will select YouTube racing creators.
MOZA Racing is going to kick things off on June 4: The hardware manufacturer has firmly established itself on the sim racing market in just a few years, offering an ecosystem that spans everything from entry-level to high-end. Soon, another bundle is joining their lineup: The MOZA Racing R3 Bundle is set to launch on the day of the event.
And the best part: The event will be free to attend! However, limited tickets will be available, because if we wanted to host all our community members, the construction work required certainly would not be ready by next Tuesday.
The OverTake office is located in Cologne. The Community Launch Event will take place from early afternoon until the late evening. We will create a forum for you to team up with fellow sim racers to arrange travel to Cologne! Conveniently, we are close to a train station and have a parking lot on-site, so whatever your travel plans are, you will be able to reach us easily.
More information about our location will be provided once you register for a ticket – and more details about the event itself will follow tomorrow.
We are looking forward to meeting you at the OverTake office in Cologne!
