RiMS Racing is set for release on August 19th, and developer RaceWard Studio has revealed more details about the title.
RaceWard Studio is hard at work to meet their deadline of August 19th for the first release of their new motorbike racing simulator, RiMS Racing. In collaboration with publisher Nacon, the social media accounts of the teams have been busy sharing details and teasers.
Most recently, two new motorbikes have been confirmed: the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR and the Honda CBR1000RR ABS. The announcement of each these high-performance additions to the title was accompanied by a brief video of the bike in action in RiMS Racing.
RiMS Racing is being marketed as the ultimate biking simulation. In addition to a focus on realism on track, RaceWard is also quick to point out that customizations and fitting parts off the track will also be key features of the title. Promotional footage of the sim has been showcasing almost as much of the garage tuning screens as it has gameplay and replay track footage.
The development team has also shared several behind the scenes looks at the creation of RiMS Racing, the most recent being a look at how RaceWard is bringing the sounds of the bikes to us. In the video we see the lengths they went to in order to capture the sounds not only trackside, but also onboard the bikes from various angles.
A release date of August 19th is still being targeted by RaceWard, though the videos shared have noted that this date will be for the European and Asian regions, with America being given a release date of August 24th.
We’ve already set up a home for RiMS Racing here at RaceDepartment.
