The day is finally here, the Assetto Corsa Competizione 24H Nürburgring Pack is out now and here is everything you need to know before buying.
Ever since the game's launch, the rumours have been incessant. "Will the Nordschleife come to ACC?" is one of the most frequent questions in sim racing in the past few years. But when the SRO Motorsports Group announced that the 24-hour race would form part of the Intercontinental GT Championship, rumours became pleads.
Finally, in November of last year, Kunos Simulazioni confirmed the upcoming arrival of the full Nürburgring loop to Assetto Corsa Competizione.
The 24H Nürburgring Pack releases today, 1 April, and with it, players will be flocking to the Steam Store. But before you spend your hard-earned cash, here is everything you need to know about the pack, functionality and all.
However, unfortunately, the DLC pack only comes with one additional track layout, the official track for the 24 hours of the Nürburgring. This includes the GP loop previously part of the simulator, connecting to the Nordschleife, whilst passing through the tight chicane to open the lap.

Whilst perhaps not getting a full scan, it does also appear that the GP loop is up-to-date visually. New sponsorship billboards are correct to the 24-hour event alongside refreshed kerbs around the Veedol Schikane.

This is also possible in the Assetto Corsa Competizione rendition of the circuit. Instead of turning left after the Veedol Schikane, simply bare right and slalom round the hairpin. From there, you can quickly set fast laps in either practice or qualifying. Better yet, the AI will also use the shortcut, so be careful when joining the start-finish straight.

ACC 24H Nürburgring Pack Content
Since the DLC pack's announcement, fans of the game have speculated on additional content that could feature alongside the main act. From varying layouts of the track used in the VLN series to fan-favourite cars like the Opel Manta "fox tail" and recent Dacia Logan, player speculation has been rife. However, unfortunately, the DLC pack only comes with one additional track layout, the official track for the 24 hours of the Nürburgring. Nordschleife in ACC Features
For that price, players get access to a seemingly very up-to-date scan of the 25.3km track. Whilst not featuring the recently raised kerb at the top of the hill after the fuchsröhre, we do believe the scan to be as recent as the 2023 season.Whilst perhaps not getting a full scan, it does also appear that the GP loop is up-to-date visually. New sponsorship billboards are correct to the 24-hour event alongside refreshed kerbs around the Veedol Schikane.
How many sectors for the Nürburgring in ACC?
In real life, that 25.3km circuit is broken into 17 main timing sectors, given the length of the track. In Assetto Corsa Competizione however, this will be just three seemingly very long sectors, like every track in the game.Nürburgring-Nordschleife in Assetto Corsa Competizione grid size
Fans of large grid races, both online and offline will be happy. The Assetto Corsa Competizione recreation of the Nürburgring sees a whopping 110 grid slots available for online racing. That number drops to a still commendable 50 for offline AI racing. Can I cut the Nordschleife in practice and quali?
During real world events on the combined Nürburgring-Nordschleife, racers can cut through the pit lane to skip the long track. This allows them to sooner start setting competitive times. What is the first car you will take to the Nordschleife? Image credit: Kunos Simulazioni

Updated Physics
Much like the majority of ACC content drops, this latest DLC pack will come with an update to the overall title. According to release notes, the GT3-specialist simulator gets adjustments to damper and suspension geometry handling with the new version. Hopefully, this should help the cars tackle the infamously bumpy Nordschleife circuit.Assetto Corsa Competizione Version 1.10 Changelog
