In October 2023 the overall 'Balance of Power' stayed more or less the same. However, there are some notable changes as well as a surprise winner in gain.
Obviously players have continued enjoying the game's new features of v0.3 which included experimental VR, a new car, new missions as well as various fixes and improvements.
The new Forza Motorsport has entered the charts at position 8. However, with only 2,191 average players, it clearly lags behind its relatives Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5.
The biggest loser is Need for Speed Heat with a drop of 48.8 %. Losing almost half of its players also resulted in the arcade racer lose 4 positions on the charts, now ranking in P9.

BeamNG.drive Maintains Top Position
After BeamNG.drive was able to knock the permanent leader Forza Horizon 5 off its throne for the first time last month, the sim managed to maintain the top spot for October as well. Not only that, BeamNG's average players count even increased by 200.Obviously players have continued enjoying the game's new features of v0.3 which included experimental VR, a new car, new missions as well as various fixes and improvements.

Biggest Winners and Losers
October's biggest winner is a game nobody of us had on the radar, Disney Speedstorm. The free-to-play Mario Kart clone could increase its player base by an incredible 447.69 %, catapulting the fun racer to P11 on the leaderboard with an average player count of 2063. Also Trackmania (+67.59), rFactor 2 (+41.32) and RIDE 4 (+40.81) showed considerable increases.The biggest loser is Need for Speed Heat with a drop of 48.8 %.
