Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged is coming this October, and the sequel to the successful first iteration of the series is adding more vehicles, interesting features and new gameplay mechanics - which are now available for preview in the game's first gameplay trailer.
130 Vehicles, New Environments
More content is usually a nice thing to have, and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 makes sure there is plenty of it with the addition of ATVs and motorbikes - but it does not stop there: New environments are also set to spice up the Turbocharged experience, as players will be able to race in a suburban Backyard, a Wild-West-themed Mini Golf Course, a Museum, and a Gas Station. Additionally, an entirely empty Track Room will be available, and it is upon the players to fill this room with their own track creations. At launch, players will be able to race 130 vehicles at these locations, and they are going to be grouped into six categories that match their styles and character: Rocket vehicles are top speed monsters while the Swift category is lighter and more agile - logically, Balanced falls in between the two. Drifter class vehicles excel at taking corners sideways, and the Heavy-Duty category promises large cars and bikes as well as greater durability. Lastly, the Off-Road class is ideal for loose terrain.
