F1 Manager 2022 | Team Recruitment Showcase Video

The highly anticipated F1 Manager 2022 game is due to be released next month, and a new video has been released to showcase the team development features.

An integral part of a successful racing team is, of course, the people both on and off track responsible for driving, designing and improving the car. In Formula 1, this can be a large team of people, each with highly specialized skills. Hiring and managing these (virtual) people is one of the main aspects of the upcoming F1 Manager 2022 game.

The game is due to be released on August 30th, and a video posted on their official YouTube channel gives us a high-level look at the recruitment and development aspects.

The level of detail Frontier Developments has packed into the recruitment features is impressive, and falls nicely in line with everything we've seen from the title to date.

F1 Manager 2022 is poised to be a detailed and immersive escape for racing fans and sim racers who are as interested in the business aspects and personnel issues behind the scenes of the top level of motorsport. Does this interest you? Let us know in the comments below.

It seems, from the beginning of the this trailer, that the racing is properly displayed, with nice camera possibilities, onboard and outside, like TV replays. An immersive feature I liked in F1 manager 97.

Much longer stream showing the menus in detail and a full Baku race

Some of the car movement looks a bit odd but otherwise I’m really liking what they’ve shown so far. Very much MM vibes and similar race management, hopefully there’s enough variety in the races.

If I am dealing with F1 related gaming I'd rather drive than manage. If it was a cool paid mobile game like Motorsport Manager was initially, with good management systems, licensed tracks, names, cars, etc. and simple graphics, I could see myself binging this game. However, when I sit down to my PC, I know that this game would be pretty low on my interest list. Maybe if it was called "F1 Manager" instead of "F1 Manager 2022"...

I am looking forward to this game so insanely much.

I haven't watched a single video on the game, not read any of the long articles about it either. I want my first time in this game to be like it was when I played games 20 years ago. I knew what the game was about, but that was it. Under 2 months left now! Yeehaaaw!

The problem with Frontier is that there isn’t a lot of game in their games. The management aspect of their previous games has been woefully lacking.

I have serious doubts that Frontier are capable of making a superior management game to Motorsport manager.
