F1 Manager 2022 | Be The Boss Trailer Released

F1 Manager 2022 BTS Trailer 1.jpg
More teasers and information about the upcoming F1 Manager 2022 game have been revealed by way of a video trailer titled "BE THE BOSS".

For those with a desire to call the shots behind the scenes of Formula 1 as team principal, the upcoming F1 Manager 2022 game appears to have you covered.

While a firm release date for the title has yet to be confirmed, more details were shared in the most recent trailer. "BE THE BOSS" was the title of the first behind-the-scenes look at F1 Manager 2022.

F1's Managing Director of Motorsports, Ross Brawn, was quoted in the video saying "I think for the fans playing this new game, it's going to be a fascinating insight to a different side of Formula 1. Because we all think of the drivers and I think the engineers have a reasonable profile, but I think through the game you're going to understand all the work that needs to be done to build the relationships between the drivers, the engineers and the factory so everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing to create the foundations and build the substance for a team to be successful".

While F1 Manager 2022 won't be the first title on the market to focus on contracts, finances, personnel and R&D instead of simply giving the player a chance to drive a car, having the official backing of Formula 1 will offer increased authenticity and immersion to the experience.

Players will be able to choose which team they lead as principal, then assume the role of leading the direction of the program. Meeting or exceeding the expectations of your respective board of directors is the central goal while playing, so overseeing spending and staffing throughout the current season and setting yourself up for success in subsequent seasons is key.

The trailer hints at the depth of the player experience in F1 Manager 2022, and certainly shows promise for a game that could scratch the itch of an F1 fan looking for a fun gaming experience outside of the racing action we'll see in F1 22 next month.

If this game has nothing to do with codemasters why are the menus and menu sounds all the same as their game?

Looks a bit barebones. Coming from FM there is definitely lots of things you have to get right on your first try. Hopefully this will deliver a good first entry.

As far as I can remember we are unable to field our own Grand Prix team - which is a reason not to buy the team.
It seems Liberty Media seems set on goldplating the current ten teams in the virtual world as well ;)

I think it should be a bit more like "Roller Coaster Tycoon"...

Build cars, build tracks, build not enough car parking, get spectators through the gates, sell food franchise spots, gouge the fans for tacky memorabilia, not have enough toilets etc.

That would be more in line with a title called FIA Manager. You forgot the part where teams bribe you.

I really look forward to the game.

Not sure these "behind the scenes" videos fill me with confidence though.

It's looking like a very pretty Excel interface.

Ok I'm being sarcastic, and I am actually quite interested in this, but I did completely fail at Motorsport Manager.

Haha actually in the hardest mode, MM could be a real challenge and I did recourse to Excel in order to keep everything in check! And this new F1 Manager 22 game seems like it will have even more depth, so I am enthusiastic about it!

I hope there is an option to automate race management.
This is the part I hate about modern racing management games. I wanna manage the team yes, but I don't wanna micromanage the drivers themselves, I prefer to see it unfold WITH the option to barge-in if I feel it is necesary.

So far my favorite f1 manager to date remains Grand Prix World.

Oh and custom team also; I have no interest in managing current teams ever since Minardi isn't on the grid lol.

CD Keys are asking $17.59 US at the moment, so its not going to break the bank

I know G2A, CDKeys etc are grey resellers one shouldn't use for a whole heap of reasons.

This is a very good example of why. How can they sell it before it's released when CDKeys are not an authorized seller/reseller? ;)

G2A and CD Keys are a little bit different in how their businesses run, in that CD Keys are the people you are buying from, G2A and several others are marketplaces. Also if between paying and delivery, the price changes, the cost to you stays the same, whether their price goes up or down you don't pay extra, nor get a refund, you just get the key.
You can find lot of complaints about the G2A style business model, I don't find those same complaints about CD Keys, because it is a different business model. CDKeys is grey market and only grey and you deal with them direct, G2A is often grey, but the problems arise when it includes black market dealers, and G2A will deny any responsibility, as they are just a link between buyer and seller. They are not the same.

I can't wait to see the end product. Might be a worthy addition to the list of management games I so rarely put aside my time for :roflmao:
