With the holidays right around the corner, it is not just time for Christmas, but also some community spirit - which is why SimRacing Unlimited is hosting two GT1 Revival races in Assetto Corsa on Tuesday night. RaceDepartment will be on the grid, and you can be, too!
The RSS GT Pack has to rank among the best mods ever created, as the car models and sounds are absolutely spectacular. GT1 cars from circa 2003 are always a blast to drive, which is exactly what we are going to do in two 30-minute races: Our first contest takes us to Donington Park, the second race will take place at Spa-Francorchamps - both circuits at which these cars raced back in the day in the FIA GT championship.
Want to re-live those GTR2 vibes from yesteryear? There are still a few grid spots available - should you not have anything planned on Tuesday night from 7pm CET onwards, we would love to see you on track! Simply join the SimRacing Unlimited community on simracing.gp and sign up for both races.
Of course, spectating is also an option: The races will be live streamed on RaceDepartment's Twitch channel, while SimRacing Unlimited will also feature a full broadcast of the event on their Twitch channel for German-speaking viewers. Korbinian Rubenbauer will serve as a commentator for SRU's stream.
