A month before the Early Access release of Assetto Corsa EVO, we will have the chance to exclusively interview Kunos Simulazioni founder Marco Massarutto in a live stream - so we need your questions!

The sim racing world is full of buzz for Assetto Corsa EVO. Its Early Access release is still a month away, but the recent announcement of AC EVO featuring an open world set in the Eifel surrounding the Nürburgring has kicked the excitement and discussion into overdrive.

From the announcement, many questions arose already, and we want to look for answers for our community. On Tuesday, December 17 at 16:00 UTC, we will sit down with Marco Massarutto live on our YouTube channel as well as our Twitch channel to find out more about the upcoming sim. For that, we have a number of questions from our comment sections already on our list, but we know there will be more.

This is where you, our community, comes in: Let us know what questions regarding AC EVO are burning on your minds right now as comments to this article, and we will make sure to try and get all the answers we can get from Marco.

In the meantime, you can catch up on what Marco told us last time we had the chance to sit down at SimRacing Expo 2024 via the video embedded above.

Speaking of video: We will have some exclusive Assetto Corsa EVO footage to show you soon that has never been publicly seen before - so we recommend keeping an eye on our website and YouTube as well as social media channels!

Which questions for Marco would you like answered? Let us know in the comments below and tune in to our live stream on December 17 to find out more about AC EVO!

2 questions:
1) Are there plans to add more open-world maps in the future? e.g. France, Switzerland etc.
2) Will car classes be more fleshed out than AC1, particularly vintage ones? There were some amazing cars in AC1 such as the Porsche 917 and 917/30, however these 2 in particular were a bit isolated in the sense that there wasn’t much realistic competition for them. We were close to getting the Ferrari 512M but the community voted otherwise and I would have personally loved some Can-am competitors for the 917/30. Would be nice to get some period competition for cars like the 250F as well.

Is it possible to expect more fleshed out grids? Normally, we would get 2-3 cars per class and many classes, but a more realistic sized grid for (potentionally fewer) classes might be better.

More details about how modding works would be wonderful. The biggest feature of AC and for sure the main reason for its long lifespan needs to be well thought out.

will modders be able to create new free roam maps with all the features and functionality of the stock one from kunos. also will there be more than one free roam map from kunos?

One thing that frustrates me about the current AC is that there is no "kerb" data output for Simhub, so I can't set my bass shakers to feel the kerbs. Will AC Evo have kerb data readily available like some of the other sims?
Oddly enough, I have this setup on my haptics. Though simhub!

Could we have some problems:roflmao: with the local police on the roads near the nordschleife ?

Will it be possible in ACE to race GT3 cars just like it was possible in ACC? Or would I need to obtain license for GT3 and buy the GT3 content/upgrade to be able to race in this category?
ACC was instant fun and just a racing game heavenly executed for online leagues and championships. I wish to know whether ACE will be a successor for ACC in case of these pure racing events.
Thank in advance for your reply! Kind Regards

(1) Do you plan to ad rally ? Or a separate rally sim later? (2) Will there be an option in AC EVO to fit an LSD to cars which did not have it originally? (3) Is more merch comming maybe items/accessories to fit in real cars with AC EVO or KUNOS theme? (4) Is there a BMW compact 323ti in the game?

Are Kunos aware of the amazing CamTool app? Will there be any tools available for customizing camera behaviour, angles, replays, etc? Thanks in advance.

...what a shame, i am a very old (47 years) gamer.
I see many happy kids here.

Now back to AMS2 , ACC...

Will ACE feature old content like AC did with some special jewels like old Silverstone and Monza and even more? Or will the focus be on the modern "world" environment?

I really enjoyed playing with Maseratis 250F in those tracks, I hope they bring more of that vintage vibe.

Are we going to have separated experiences from all the "earn your money, upgrade/rent your cars yada yada" and the racing F1 and GT aspects?

Like, if we just wanna race GT like we do on ACC, can we just jump to it? or are we supposed to stay on ACC for that?

Are you aware of the issues and how bad it can go if the alleged "mod market" is closed and monetized?
Unlike it was with AC which was just open to the community.

free roam….
But ….are there free move in pit lane/pit stop and free move on starting grid or it will be arcade like ac?
