Updates on Further Game Developments
Not only the content received some attention in this December Update. Here's a list of things Reiza Studios has been working on:
- Adjust Pit Speed Limit - users will be able to adjust that based on their own preferences, between 60 and 100 km/h.
- Motorsport Presets - Don't worry, this one got nothing to do with another company named Motorsport. This setting is to select race rule presets based on several IRL series.
- Physics - The flood of classic content apparently requires some physics adjustments that need to be worked into AMS2's code.
- Force Feedback - This also needs adjustment to work with the classic content.
- New Cockpit Display Functionalities - Several inclusions like TC and ABS being visible on the dashboard.
- AI Developments - New cars and tracks cannot come without adjustments to AI.
- Multiplayer - This will receive some work, apparently Reiza have found out much stuff about that and are confident they can make improvements in 2023.
- Content - A new DLC has been teased, the "Adrenaline Pack DLC" will be worked on, featuring dirt oval and rallycross racing.
- Some sort of Endurance Racing content. Will we get yet another sim racing competitor in the race for WEC/IMSA racing?
- Modding Support - Or at least making modding and installing mods easier. Make sure to keep an eye out on the AMS2 Modding Database here on RD for current and future community generated content.
- Career Mode is also apparently being worked on with a targeted 2023 release.
Of course, this is only a roundup. You can read the full thing in all its glory here.
