I like it. Physics need a little work, but no big deal. Hey, I'm curious, how did you made the tires and T-Cam from the upgrades (that don't work on GSCE) to the genstring ?
The conversion itself is solid, very solid. Car models look great and the file cleanup for being brought to SCE will probably mostly go un-noticed to the masses, but is welcome from someone who doesn't know enough to convert things himself at the moment.
That said, the default FFB leaves A LOT to be desired - which is not fault of the conversion, but perhaps a 'leftover' of the rF1 days. I was able to get the FFB to a C.A.R.T Extreme 'feeling' (those reading this will want to try maxing-out Caster and studying the C.A.R.T realfeel values, then adding a bit of realfeel & gmotor-setup magic, especially for Logitech wheels).
Ultimately, this mod has allowed me to cross an item off my sim-racing 'bucket-list', to drive a Panoz DP01 ChampCar - however I've only been able to hot-lap it, as the A.I. will hilariously lose it on any sort of curbing, and then get stuck in an infinite loop of donuts. Again not fault of the conversion itself, just another possible gmotor 'leftover', if you will.
I do look forward to any/all improvements that may come (tire color change for example) and would recommend this to any 'open-wheeler' fan who's willing to spend some time to bring the FFB up-to-par with what we've been spoiled with from C.A.R.T Extreme.
(Holy wall-o-text, did not expect to type that much o_o)

well written ;) thx... i hope someone with some physic knowledge can do some updates so the ai will be able to run a lap instead of donuts :D same for the ffb ;)
I would give this mod a 5 star but, IMO i think it needs alot more work to reach SCE standards. FFB is alright, nothing compared to SCE FFB and CART Extreme's. Physics need ALOT of work. I'm pretty sure this mod has alot of potential, seeing that it is also v1.0. It could just be me making a big fuss out of these things i have mentioned, but thank you for going out of your way to bring this to SCE. :)

because noone worked on the physics ;) i just converted and updated the cars... not the physic :)
Great stuff. Maybe in some distant future's update we would see moving arms in T-cam view ;) If not that's still awesome. Thanks.
Thanks for this!
Although... 2007 year is quite boring (and those near by years :)) but that's got nothig to do with you. :)
1994, 1995 and 1998, years that we already have in CART/Champ cars for SCE are much more interesting to race. More raing legends and much more familiar liveries. It's easy to see that in 2007, apart from 2-3, there's no some famous liveries: http://members.shaw.ca/yvr76/CCWS-SpottersGuide-2007-Final.jpg
