Special note :
It should be possible to overwrite an old version with this update. However if you have any loading errors be sure to remove any previous versions of "Winton" from your locations folder before installing Winton V1.06.
A maintenance update with some additional upgrades for Winton to take advantage of the latest AMS v1.5+ standards.
* Re loft and replace all the curbs.
* Fix curb texture alpha specular channel
* Upgrade the track shaders using Reiza textures.
* New groove/skid/marble dynamic track
* Remove overlapping track polys, correct a few holes and bugs.
* Convert the road lines to Reiza standard.
* Rebuild road/grass blend.
* Correct several texture/material problem. (transparency, alpha spec).
* Fix the missing horizon ring.
* Fix some z-fighting problems in the track adverts.
* Recompute the AI with the latest AMS v1.5+ parameters.
* Improved AI inside/outside lines.
* Updated lighting colors and sky blending angles.
* Package cleanup of unused objects and textures.
* New track loading screens and mini maps.
* Many additional tweaks and fixes that didn't make the change log.
The old curbs were modeled in a way that placed them on top of the track surface taking up quite a lot of track space. The new curbs lofted off the track edges have a more smooth shape, regain about 25 to 30 cm of track space, and improve the physics response.
