MAKE SURE TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE SERPs BASE FILES FIRST !!!
Without the Base Files, these templates will NOT work
This is not a stand alone mod. These are ERP file templates, which you can use to import your own custom Williams mods. All without having to deal with multiple ERPs and annoying mipmaps.
This mod uses the file "F1 24/2024_asset_groups/environment_package/core_assets/ui/persistent_core_assets.erp" to replace textures without the use of mipmaps. This will make mods easier and quicker to install.
No original game files will be replaced, apart from this one ERP. This will make game file repairs quicker.
Please feel free to modify these templates and use them to release your own Williams mods however you like. That's what these templates are made for.
All we ask from you, is to include "[SERPs]" + the level used in your mod title and to include a link to these templates in your mod description, to create a compatible system together with all modders.
You can use one of these banners in your mod description, just like it's done here:
CONTENTS
This mod consists of 3 levels, with each level increasing the amount of textures available to be customised. Pick a level based on how much you would like to modify your Williams.
Below is a list of each level and its contents:
Pick between the ORIGINAL or FOM chassis
LEVEL 1 // Livery, Driver Numbers
LEVEL 2 // Livery, Driver Numbers, Driverwear, Teamwear
LEVEL 3 // Livery, Driver Numbers, Driverwear, Teamwear, Garage, RnD Area
FUTURE UPDATE INFORMATION
For a future update, we want to add an option for modders to Pick & Choose their own parts of the ERP. This way all the parts listed above will be seperate and you can pick exactly what parts you want to mod. Merge them together using the Moonshot EEA and have your own DIY SERPs template.
HOW TO INSTALL AND USE
STEP 1 // Pick one of the levels, which suits your mod the best. Open that levels folder and into Copy & Paste and F1 24, copy the 2024_asset_groups folder.
STEP 2 // Open your game files folder and paste the copied 2024_asset_groups folder into your F1 24 folder. It should ask you to replace 1 file, click Yes.
STEP 3 // Now head into F1 24/2024_asset_groups/environment_package/core_assets/ui and open the persistent_core_assets.erp. You will see all the textures you can now customise very simply without mipmaps. Don't forget to save when done importing
Now when you release your Williams mod, you can simply include just this one ERP file to your .zip folder. Reducing mod file sizes massively.
