Hi I'm Danillo!
Introduction.
The update I bring here is also the first time I've done it. Despite this, it was meticulous and perfectionist work on my part to bring the skin as close to reality as possible.
This skin is from the Williams FW14 of the 1992 season, one of Formula 1's favorite paintings.
The mod is from Sim Race, but unfortunately it is no longer available for purchase.
The skin came with a terrible graphical flaw and I decided to paint it again and make it available to fans of this beautiful car.
Besides the paint job I left the physics of the car similar to the work done by ASR Williams in 1991.
Originally the car is very easy to drive, I don't believe it was that easy despite all the technology in that car.
But I'm afraid I made it very difficult to drive. I'm going to need your feedback to find the best fit possible, right?
What's New in Version 2.0?
With Feedback from our friends in the Racedepartament.com community I realized that I needed to tweak some things. So I corrected:
- The position of Labets on the side of the car;
- includes Magnetti Marelli on the nose of both cars;
- Correction in number 6 of Ricardo Patrese's car;
- Inclusion of sparks;
- Correction in the pilot's position at the wheel;
- The car is more difficult and challenging to drive;
Installation
It would be important to create a backup copy before replacing it.
If desired, just delete the F1_1992_williams skin folders (Mansell and Patrese).
Then copy the content folder directly into the root of the assetto corsa.
I replaced the driver with the asr driver to improve the driver and helmet graphics and made the change to the data / driver3d.ini file.
note:
It is very important that you create a backup copy of the Data folder from the previous version, in case you experience a lot of difficulty in driving the car.
I need you to know if everything went right and if you liked it, right?
NOTE 2
As I said in the previous version 1.0 note, I have fibromyalgia and I can't work to pay for my medication.
I was so bad I was supposed to send this update on Friday, but I couldn't even drive for 1 lap to test the car.
So, if everyone who downloads and likes my work can support me with 1 or 2 dollars (1 or 2 euros) it would be a huge help for me at the link https://streamelements.com/sdf1tube/tip
If everyone can and wants to support me like this, I will certainly be able to work on more skins to help the community as well.
PS: I'm still having a hard time getting the pilot's position in the cockpit. If anyone wants and can give suggestions to get it perfectly adjusted, please let me know.
