The lakes in v1.5 left me wanting more as I have seen better results with the use of stFlow. So I went ksEditor and played some with the settings of the original textures.
Install: the animation of the lakes needs the stFlow shader so if you haven`t already installed it I suggest you do that first (Custom Shaders Patch is not mandatory). Then extract "alps_water.kn5" into your "..\AssettoCorsa\content\tracks\alps\" folder and replace the old one. Custom Shaders Patch and Sol dynamic weather are recommended.
On the wet road settings I have done a small addition to the config file "..\AssettoCorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded\alps.ini".
For that you need to copy all rows from "alps config.txt" and paste them at the end of the "alps.ini".
If your track loads not at the desired time of day you need to add a paragraph to "..\Users\*****\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\extension\data_track_params.ini" by copying all rows from "alps timezone.txt". If you don`t find "data_track_params.ini" in that location see this post.
About the visual improvements of the track from @Mascot I found that the coordinates for the movement of the helicopters are mainly ascend and that happens too quickly so you barely have a glimpse of that well made model. I have prepared some more entertaining trajectory's in this post.
Happy driving!
