During this years Month Of May, I thought about 'When was my first time seeing a IndyCar? And while I was remembering some of my childhood experiences of videogames, shows, movies including any appearence of those cars, I recalled the second time I did was in the much lauded Burnout 3: Takedown, where it featured in the later stages of the game, the US Circuit Racer.
And on revisiting the game via friends sharing it on Discord and talking about it during May before the Indy 500, I felt motivated to recreate it using VRCs similar Formula NA 1999 road car to do it. Not just as a nice little nostalgia trip, but as an ode to myself for discovering one of my first motorsports as a kid. Hope you all have fun with it as much as I did making it!- Yung Magnussen
