I know its not a finished version, but i wanted to say that it would be cool if the roads were less bumpy and better performance would be nice. I got high end CPU and getting sometimes AC Cpu warning

Hey thanks for the feedback.
Performance is something i'll try to improve once more things are final.
As for bumpiness, i will try to redo the FFB mesh to follow the different asphalt patch you see on the road. But i also don't want a perfectly clean surface, as it should reflect an open road and not a race track !

Absolutely excellent! Did not expect this fidelity on such a vast map! Hearing the waves when you get close to ocean is a nice touch! Oh and did i hear a bird or eagle? Or is it just me who is too immersed? :D Anyways, simply amazing and a huge thanks for making my AC experience even better!

I'm not sure how heavy on the CPU the sounds are so i didn't put too many
I wouldn't know what type of bird is that ! Definitely something exotic

Mind blown. Absolutely the most gorgeous mod released so far. I race in VR and I was just stunned when some vistas popped up after driving over a hill. The details everywhere are incredible.
Also a big compliment for the roads. Some open world mods make the 'mistake' of using long strectches of almost straight road, making driving around a bit boring. Not here. Corners everywhere, uphill, downhill, variations in the tarmac, it's just a blast to race here.

Incredible. driving to the top of one of the mountains in VR, when i notice the view over to another island in the distance, with distant lights, the sun setting and all that, turned my headlights and engine off and just started for a decent 2 minutes.

this whole map is truly stunning in VR, and being used to "linear" maps, having loads of intersections and roads that connect to eachother is incredibly fun, a work of art, my only complaint is that the roads are a bit too bumpy for my personal preference in some locations, which is a bit annoying in VR, but otherwise its amazing.

Those lights gave me the same feeling than downtown LA for LAC, it helps bringing life to the place.

The bumpiness of the road is on purpose... sorry to hear about the VR being annoying, i haven't thought of that !
I need to rework the FFB to reflect the different patch of asphalt, and calm down the harbor a bit, the AI car are going nuts over it.
I can't promise i'll make the roads much flater tho, as it's part of the feel of driving there!

I had to stop playing just to write this (my 1st review)
Ben, this track is incredible! The level of detail is jaw-dropping. The way you captured the "feel" of really being on a tropical island, the sheer level of trackside detail in the houses, plants, clutter.
It felt so real in VR that I caught myself doing a shoulder-check before turning left, and laughed out loud at the sheer ridiculousness of that!
Finding little things like the dirt road to the beach, I just drove down and parked for a few minutes to take in the scenery. With travel being off-limits from covid, this is such a great feeling, thank you so much!
Now back to the island...

There's very limited street view there, i tried to follow some details i could find in pictures or from the few hotspots, in the end i took a lot of liberties, making my life a bit easier !

An absolute masterpiece! VR with world detail set to maximum and your favorite small convertible is a jaw dropping experience. The bar just went up another notch for scenery design in Assetto Corsa. Thanks Ben!

There's no level of world detail at the moment, i believe all is showed no matter what. I might improve that on later updates
