**CUSTOM SHADERS PATCH REQUIRED**
This is my RC-car mod, the Rápido RC4. Rápido means fast in Spanish and it sounds fast. RC4 comes from RC and 4 is for 4-wheel-drive. It was developed by the top engineers from SlightlyMadeStudios in collaboration with Culos Simulazioni, to guarantee that there is absolutely no simulation value in this mod. Many engineers lost their ankles by getting rammed into with the Rápido.
The Rápido features 11 unique RC car bodies, so there should be something for everyone from big time ballers to basket weaving forum users. Other features include a fully adjustable suspension and very grippy slicks.
There is a folder for data replacements. Data replacements include the RC2.R rear wheel drive model (comes with optional drift tires) and the RC-DUB which is a RC4 with hydraulic suspension.
Specs:
VMAX: ~200km/h
Weight: 30kg
Power: 28bhp @ 21000rpm
Torque: 14nm @ 10000rpm
Gears: 1
Drivetrain: AWD 50:50
Acceleration: FAST
KNOWN ISSUES:
AI is jank, dunno what I can do about it.
May beach on grass. Solution would be more down travel range.
Suspension isn't invincible but I spent a lot of effort so that it would be able to take a smashing and for the most part works fine.
The FFB is disabled because there is something funny going on making it jittery.
Some people complain about understeer, but add any more grip and the car will grip roll.
I designed this to work on a gamepad. My gamepad profile:
Speed Sens: 90%
Steer Speed: 20%
Steer Gamma: 285%
Steer Filter: 0%
CREDITS:
Physics: Tunari
Modelling: Tunari
Animations: Tunari
Ext-config: Tes, Tunari, Pastor
Sounds: Pastor
Technical consultation: Tes, Pastor
Special thanks to the anonymous basket weavers for helping me test this and give feedback.
