Toyota Supra MKIV power/sound mod 1.0

Hi,

I felt like I never really found a supra that would match what you see in these internet videos (like doing a burnout at 60 Mp/h on 4th gear) and wanted to make a supra that would represent it more.

Before installing the mod:

-Save a copy of your original kuno's MKIV supra, as this will override the default one.

How to install it:

I zipped the sfx and data folder from the original car, so in theory, if you just unzip the file and put it in the content/cars of your ac files, you should be good to go. Again, save a copy of the original car before doing so.

What I did:

-Updated the power curve to 1200bhp
-Updated turbo power so it kicks, like, a lot, at 4200 rpms.
-copy/pasted driving settings from the kuno's tuned supra version, so it handles like it. Hint: you could copy/paste the settings to the tuned version if you like, to keep the bodykit and all. It should fit 100%.
-Copied and pasted the sound from Fmod's tuned supra sound. Honestly, I lost the link to that (it was the sounds for the 3 supra versions). That is why I kept the rev limiter to 7200 or so. The sound stays right and well.

What improvements it would need:

-Handling settings (like grip) to handle that much power, because as of right now, you really need to keep the car in line and handle throttle response, cause it be really slippy my guy! I think I saw drag tires on another supra mod so that would be awesome.

What to keep in mind:

-I do not own any of the sounds, nor the car. I only tweaked power settings. That's why I only zipped the data and sfx folder, so I don't get into problems with big daddy ac. As this is my first upload, I don't know anything about regulations on this site so please report to me anything wrong I could've done as I wish for this to be fun and entertaining, not a disaster.

-Bear in mind, this car could not work on many online servers if they have a mod checker. I otherwise succeeded in some of them, so the car works fine with other racers from around the world.

-Please tell me in the comments if this mod works (or not) for you. I would be happy to help. Bear in mind, I'm not doing this full time, so I will check responses on some occasions.

i never tested before and after so im not sure if it worked. when you look at the bhp on the control panel it still says stock? is it suppose to change?
im having the same issue as mrx335, the recalculating option doesnt help also.
1000Nm at 2500RPM, you haven't even bothered looking up a real dyno graph and it shows.

Sorry to hear that. I used a turbo graph helper in order to modify the engine values (link below). Could you please develop on "a real dyno graph"? I would be glad to see what I can improve. thank you very much.

i downloaded the file, unzipped it, saved a copy of the original supra, copied the unzipped file and pasted it in the cars folder, but my supra is exactly like the kunos one. Please help

For me, I pasted both the original and the modded one in the cars folder. If you don't know wich one to use (because they look identical), you could try click the little "three dots" next to the graph of the car (when viewing it from the content menu in content manager). That way, you could click "recalculate curves using data only" and the graph should update. If you see the power curve going above 1200hp, you should have the right version. Let me know if further help is needed. Have a great day.
