This package contains three skins for the Fusca, the "Texas Special" in factory 1954-1955 Texas Brown with some appropriate decals, the #3 car in Gulf Racing colors circa 1969, and a Two-Tone featuring factory 1967 VW Blue/1967 Pearl White. It also includes custom rims, and driver suits/helmets for each car, and talent files for the drivers of the cars.

Additionally, it includes a cylinder head temperature (CHT) gauge that I made and calibrated, to replace the default "water temperature" gauge in our AIR COOLED Fusca. Additionally, It includes driver suits, gloves, and helmets for each car, appropriate interior textures for each car, and an "updates" file that allows you to install a 25 kg weight reduction, and to install a 1900cc, 125 hp Scat engine, available as options in the Showroom for each car. It also includes the installattion of the CHT gauge and a pit speed limiter for which you'll need to assign a key or button in the game's options, into the Fusca, FuscaHC, and FuscaR.

INSTALLATION

Extract the file. You'll see the readme, previews of the skins, and two folders. One folder is labeled "Skins". Install this first. This will give you the skins and driver suits.

The other folder is labeled "Options". Only install this if you want the CHT gauge and pit speed limiter in your FUsca, FuscaHC, and FuscaR.

To install the package, first open the "Skins" folder, copy or cut the "Automobilista" folder and paste it into your Steam\steamapps\common folder. You now have the skins and driver suits/helmets. If that's all you want, you're finished.

If you want the options (i.e., CHT gauge, Showroom options, and pit speed limiter) open the "Options" folder, and copy or cut the "Automobilista" folder in there to the same location thatyou copied and pasted the first folder for the skins. Say "Yes" when prompted to overwrite files.

NOTES

If you want to preserve your default files, make backups. As for the CHT gauge, normal temperature is reflected when the gauge needle is straight up and down, on the scale's center marker. If you pit, the engine will get a bit warmer, but it will cool back down to center/normal once you're back out on the track, with some air flow through the engine compartment again.

The FuscaHC and the FuscaR will run cooler than the Fusca. Take a look at the ducts on the sides of the FuscaHC, and the FuscaR is basically an unlimited Fusca with a wing, and much better cooling. They can do anything they want in the FuscaR class.

If you install the "Options", don't forget to assign a key or button in the game's options to use the pit speed limiter in the Fusca, FuscaHC, and FuscaR.

If you have previously created a "Fusca Team 11", you'll have to rename the team folder in the "Skins" folder, as well as change the Team Name in the .veh files before installing, for each of the three cars. If you have not previously created a "Fusca Team 11", you're good to go.

Anyway, there you have it. Feedback is appreciated, especially positive feedback. It inspires me to keep making and releasing things.

I hope that you enjoy the package!
