Hi Wing Nut! That IS my Light Weight Landy from 1nsane, yes :D I hope you enjoy Thomson Road (suits slower or older cars more than modern, fast cars). And also, welcome to AC - I hope you enjoy your time here as much as I have ;-) (oh, and thanks for trying my track)
Very good quality track with great details.
The trees give it a nice atmosphere that's different from most of the other tracks. Great job !
I'm a Singaporean and I would just like to say a huge thank you on behalf of all of Singapore! I was not even a nucleus when they had the grand prix and I felt like I just traveled back in time. It's really beautiful and I can see you've put in a lot of effort in the re-creation of the pit lane, grandstands and banners considering the limited resources out there. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for trying out my track. I felt like an honorary Singaporean when I finished working on Thomson Road! I spent so long scouring Government archives for photos, news reports, maps, anything I could find. My intention was to try and transport people back in time, so if that's how you feel then I succeeded in some small way.

Thomson Road, and Singapore, will hold a special place in my AC heart. You should feel proud that your country held such a fantastic Grand Prix, at such an inspiring venue.
This track mod alone convinced me of creating an account here to give a rating. I bought Assetto Corsa a couple of weeks ago, and fell in love with it. However, its particular lack of tracks worried me a bit, until I found out there are modded ones as well. And this one, is by far the best track I've downloaded in every single regard. I'm a sucker for old school, fast circuits like the classic versions of Silverstone and Monza that are featured in the game.

A couple of years ago I read an article about the Thomson Road Circuit that was released prior to a Singaporean F1 GP. I never, never expected a little known track like this to make its own way to AC, and even less with this level of quality. It looks like the result of someone travelling to the past with a laser scan - even though I don't really know if the track looked exactly like this, the result is so well done it looks believable.

Please keep supporting this track. There are plenty of track and car mods that were released a long time ago and never got updated, and this gem is just too good to be lost.
Excellent track, with a very peculiar layout. Lovely details and very tense because of all the trees and bushes. The real "gruene hoelle"!
How did I miss this release! top quality work, everything looks so good it feels like official content or even better. The track flow is so good, this is becoming one of my favorite circuits.

Thanks very much! I had so much fun racing your Honda around this track whilst I was making it (I probably would have completed it a few week's earlier if it wasn't for your S800 RSC). The fact that it was raced, and held the lap record in class, at Thomson Road made it all the more addictive :)
Everything about this is top tier. Simply incredible work. Thanks!
What a great track, beautiful, dangerous and huge fun to drive!
love all the trees
It's been great to see the development and the finished product is most excellent!
Great track and great work on it. Feels very detailed, surface feels great. Only minor thing might be that I sometimes expect to collide with stuff when going over the limit, but am just fine.

Great work!

Thanks for trying it, and thank you for you comments too. I was wary of making too many objects collideable, not only for performance reasons, but also so as not to spoil a potentially good race. In reality, sections of the track are surrounded by 1 metre wide storm drains, but I also left these out as they prevented you from rejoining the track once you fell into one.

If there is anything that you really feel should be collideable, please, let me know, and I will look at it before I release an updated version. Thanks again :)
This is top quality content. And the track is really fun. The sense of speed is also amazing in VR when the trees are so close to the track.
Thanks

This is just about perfect... Fantastic job! The detail shown in this track is incredible... And that's not even touching on the superb layout... The racing line itself is really enjoyable and pretty technical in it's rhythm. A masterpiece!
We are so lucky to have you as a member of this community. The work you do is beautiful. It's one thing to provide a smooth, yet imperfect & detailed driving surface. The attention to detail that you provide is the real key to your track's magnificence. This track works in any weather setting (GBW recommended). Even the signs look they were pulled right out of the 1960s. When you drive this track you feel like you're actually there. Great, great job Fat-Alfie!
This is amazing! The track is fantastically well done, the decoration/ambience is fabulous and the layout is great.
Thank you very much Alfie. Really looking forward to your next vintage track.

Thank you very much :) I really enjoyed making the track, and I think that helps to get good results. My next track, the Deutschlandring (finished in 1940) is going well. I learned so much making Thomson Road, and that knowledge and confidence is helping me worker quicker, better, more efficiently.

There is no "Donate" button though - I don't believe in charging for mods ;)
Absolute must have mod to AC
Awesome track! love the details
very gooooooodddddd
Fantastic job, as usual! Looking forward for some final touch of fps optimization and then it will surely be one of our favourites for online classic cars racing. Keep 'em coming!
