Telemetry Tool for F1 24 (and many other games) 14.2

Login or Register an account to download this content
Version 14.2 is here.

Notable new additions:
  • Map in Circle format. I have seen something like this in real pitwall, so wanted to just add it to my Tool too.
  • Math Channels can be now used in Workspace
  • Fixed many restart and first lap related timing and other issues.
  • F1 23/F1 24 Race/Sprint race/Feature race detection fixed
  • 64 for car support added also for PC2
  • DRIVING - Event list additions
  • STATS - option to customize, what data is shown
  • Fixed issues + improved the Race History loading
  • Rewrote many multi-car tabular data views.
  • Alerts will now show correct units and values will be in correct units too
  • Performance updates + added option for FPS target. The Tool can now do easily 150-200 FPS, but for normal use the 20-30 FPS should be sufficient.
  • DRIVING: Modified bit how tyre temperature coloring works
  • Many, many little tweaks and fixes
For list of changes, see the ReadMe.txt.

Updating from older versions: Just unzip .zip on top of your old installation. No need to update the plugins. There are some new trackmaps for AMS2 though.

Clean/New install. Unzip the files to anywhere in your system (e.g. under 'Program Files\Telemetry Tool' or to somewhere else). On the first run the Tool will ask location for data files (if necessary), so no need to edit the baseSettings.xml file anymore.

For install help, see the help at https://telemetrytool.com/install

The new version has been tested quite a bit, but there might still be something odd lurking around. If you find anything odd, please let me know.

Enjoy, and get faster.

Version 14.1 is here.

This version contains a lot of little tweaks, but also some really big fixes/additions. I would recommend anyone, even old F1 games players to update to this version.

Key updates/changes/additions/fixes
F1 24
- Many ERS/MGU related additions ot Driving/Race Info etc. to better optimze the use of them during races.
- Many other litter F1 24 related fixes/tweaks.
- Sadly still with F1 24 v1.4 the speed data in TT is messed, so the 'Speed Diff' bar in RaceInfo and TimeTrialInfo will "flicker" and the Speed + Gear data in traces cannot really be used, other data is ok.

F1 23 - F1 2020
- Backported the new F1 24 ERS/MGU related features for those games too.

ACC
- Many fixed to broadcasting/networking. Broadcasting can now used with other ports than 9000.
- Fixed issue, where a race engineer joining halfway the session the data wasn't getting updated

AC
- Added RaceStart data + fixed some over-eager data resets to keep the race data visible after the race.

AMS2
- Added RaceStart data + fixed a but, where in rare occasions the track would not change automatically and cleared some resets

R3E
- New BMWs' data added, also added racestart data

RF2
- Added racestart data

Statistics table
- Added ERS related data

RaceStart dialog
- Some tweaks to it to allow some customisation
- Now it is available for most of the games
- Enable via Settings -> General Settings -> 'Save race start files'
- You can view the RaceStart data via
'New Single-car Window -> 'RaceStarts data window'

Math Channels
- Fixed MathChannels, as some of the new data did work on them.

Workspace
- Added some new channels. IF you don't sort the list, the latest additions are always at the bottom of the list.

UDP/TCP Redirect
- Optimized the UDP/TCP redirect, and allowed the forward queue grow bit more to facilitate the amount of data moving at the start of sessions.

Multicar views
- For those games, where you can have multiclass races, added experimental option to color the lines based on the car's class
- This is experimental feature, I need to test it more to see, how to make it work in race event.
- Enable via Settings -> General Settings -> UI

General
- Added GUID, which is saved to all files created from the same session

RaceInfo re-org. Here I have moved the fuel up and add 'MGUK Harvested' which will turn red, when 2000kj has been reached. Also added 'ERS used', this is the total amount of ERS used on this lap.
There there is the Total ERS charge (86.46) and if we have lost or gained ERS charge on this lap (+34.9), means we have recharged almost 35% of max on this lap.

Added the same charge bars to Driving. Narrow green is 'ERS used' and then narrow red is 'MGUK Harvested'

Oppo-telemetry to Driving. Here extract from AC. It now shows TLA + speed, brake, gear, throttle and Overtake mode for the car ahead of you on track.

Added checkboxes to modify, which fields are visible. On these traces the distance is key figure, i.e. how far you get from standing start in 15 seconds. To use this, enable it in 'General Settings' and you can open the dialog via 'Single car window' menu.
