Hello everyone. Today I bring you guys a new add-on, this time for the Formula Abarth car, Tatuus FA01.
This add-on brings a new fresh look to the Tatuus FA01, with a new chassis.
How to install? Read carefully, PLEASE
First, don't drag this into Content Manager, or drag the main folder to anywhere.
1. Choose between a new livery folder, or an older livery folder. I'm gonna explain this later.
2. Once you've chosen the livery folder INSIDE Tatuusfa1 folder, put the ext_config.ini, kit.kn5 and the main textures that are inside the 'TEXTURES' folder.
3. Customise everything you want in the textures. Decals.dds are for the decals in some zones of the car.
Textures:
Protection.dds is the plain solid color texture for the headrest protection, I'd recommend to edit this, is a kunos texture)
airbox3.dds -> Is the colour of the airbox
airbox_inside and airbox3_inside -> Is just the colour inside both airbox.
decals.dds -> Decal texture
bodywork.dds -> Main texture of the chassis
Rearwing.dds -> Rear wing texture
The AO texture of both last are also included. Add them as a multiply layer in their main texture.
If you want to use assets (for example, suits or steering wheel textures, etc...) then create a folder with
them or paste the add-on on that livery. Do what you want (I'd honestly recommend the first)
IMPORTANT!
Note that this is the 0.5 version, and few things are not finished or they are not added yet. I will do it through the next weeks (or months). For example, I wanted to add the real USF-17 rims but I was having troubles, and I considered to work on them later. I also state that this is not exactly what USF-17 looks like and the quality is not high, but it's very looks like and that's everything I can do (remember I'm not a modding studio but a person with his hobby).
I would be very glad to receive feedback (anywhere, comments, Discussion tab, PM...) from new suggestions, bugs and glitches as I'm gonna try to fix them. This would make the add-on upgrade the quality.
TO-DO
Formula Renault 2.0 (requested by someone)
Formula Alpine 2021 (also used in W Series)
more to come... (You can request, but I don't promise I would do)
