Hello AMS sim racers,

I am pleased to offer an additional extensive track rebuild.

Formerly known as Eastern Creek, now renamed ...

Sydney Motorsport Park for AMS v2.0

Updated track shaders with custom Reiza textures.
New 3D curbs, position and shape based on sat image.
Runoff areas and sand traps redone based on sat image.
Track mesh geometry reconstructed in some problem areas.
Remapping on road,curbs, and runoff.
New groove, marbles, skids vertex paint.
New smoothed track, grid, start lines, and pit lane markings.
New 3D cement walls based on sat image.
New tire bundles in accurate positions.
Rebuild the crash fences and perimeter fence.
New semi accurate pit wall, pit rail, and pit fencing.
Move the finish and sector points to accurate positions.
Rebuild the garage, control tower, grandstand, marshal posts, and the Reiza pit wall boxes to reduce z-fighting.
Rebuild AO effects on major buildings.
Reiza garage details added.
New brake marker boards in accurate positions based on the real deal.
Revised physics, reduce marble areas slightly.
New AI fast lines and recompute the AIW with AMS v1.5+ standards.
Support for 40 vehicles on the Gardner and Druitt layouts.
Rebuild the start and pit lights to Reiza standards.
New track loading screens and mini maps.
Lots of issues fixed and details added that didn't make the change log.

Special note :
It should be possible to overwrite an old version of Eastern Creek with this update. I recommended removing any previous versions of "EasternCreek" from your locations folder before installing this version.

You will find the track listed in the AMS main menu under

"Addon Tracks / Sydney Motorsport Park"

Your old Eastern Creek track records will carry over to the new Sydney Motorsport Park... however any vehicle setups will need to be moved.

Credits to Patrick Giranthon for his great work to bring the original Eastern Creek by RR1CHO~XR~ to AMS standards.

Special thanks and credits to Reiza for their graphics technology, garage objects, and base textures modified for use in the track surface, curbs, and runoffs.

Please use the support forum for any issues, and be sure to leave a rating / review when you can.

Enjoy,

Gringo
