A Copa Nextel Stock Car de 2009 foi a 31ª edição promovida pela C.B.A. Da principal categoria do automobilismo brasileiro. Nesta temporada foi introduzido um novo chassi tubular JL G-09, substituindo o modelo que era utilizado desde 2004. Antes do início do campeonato, a Mitsubishi anunciou que não disputaria a Stock Car naquele ano. E houve mudança ao modo de ficarem semelhantes aos DTM alemães e o número de carros caiu outra vez: de 34 para 32. Assim, a categoria ficou com apenas duas montadoras, Chevrolet (Vectra) e Peugeot (307). Tem motor V8 com 480HP @ 6.500 RPM e 671 Nm de Torque @ 5.000 RPM

The Nextel Cup Stock Car 2009 was the 31st edition promoted by CBA The main category of Brazilian motor racing. This season has introduced a new tubular chassis JL G-09, replacing the model that was used since 2004.
