With permission from the original designer, I present this model of HairpinTrackDesign's South Carolina Motorsports Park for Assetto Corsa. I modeled it using Blender directly off of the original design. It is still in an early stage of development, but it is drivable and ready for public testing.
Features present as of the current version:
- Custom modeled and textured curbs
- CSP config with RainFX and 3D grass
Missing features to be added later in development:
- Separate physics mesh (phys and vis mesh are the same right now, which I know is a bad practice)
- Tires (walls and bundles)
- Actual trees instead of placeholder tree walls
- Functional pit area (the track is not intended for races that require pitstops, but I can add a pit anyway-- unlikely AI will be able to use it though)
- Better track edge decals
- Better sand textures
- Extra details, like cars and tents in pit area, house across the street, road next to track, bushes and shrubs, etc.
- Oval layout (only layout right now is the road course)
